Check if there are Vista drivers since Windows 7 and Vista are very similar. If they are not available then you'll probably have to go back to your previous operating system.

I got win7 installed on my desktop computer ( mother board msi k8mm-v V1.3) when i want to play games it gives me error message "windows media accelerator"

You need to install all the mainboard/chipset/graphic card drivers.
For the mainboard/chipset drivers, please check
http://www.msi.com/product/mb/K8MM-V.html#/?div=Driver

MSI is not prividing the Win7 drivers yet, but you can use the Vista drivers. Select the Vista version (32 bit or 64 bit) to be the same as yout Win7 type (32 or 64 bit)

32 Bit or 64 Bit Windows Vista ( 3 Questions)?

Answer 1: The 64-bit version of Vista includes a 32-bit bubsystem to run 32-bit apps. I have not encountered a problem with it yet.
Answer 2: The power is consumed by hardware, not software, so with the same power settings you will see no difference in battery life.
Answer 3: Sorry, I couldn't locate any information about that model. You may be able to find appropriate drivers from other sources by pulling all available details from your existing drivers and searching the mfr website for them.

My computer is saying no audio output device is installed after applying updates to vista. what should i do?

Hey there, As you have specified the problem, is ocuuring due to driver of your onboard or external sound card device driver is not well in functioning. Sometimes it happens, when you online updates your driver like, your firmware is designed for designated PPI Audio driver while updating online if the exact driver is not found then it searches the driver for related fetched driver for that device. It causes not to let interface your device with the designated OS. Preferred solution: search for any *.nfo file available in your OS Directory(C:\Windows). Open this .nfo file n then look for Audio device version and manufacturer's name. Search the name followed by exact version on http://google.com for OS vista and then install that driver. ##Be sure about the version of OS are you using. like 64 or 32-bit OS. Download the driver with respect to your OS type(32 or 64-bit)## I Hope it will work. Gimme Acknowladgement by rating me. Thanx - Romy Dec

Sir i have bought hp 540 note book... with no OS, I mean with DOS. I installed windows vista ultimate 64 bit in it, but I cant find the drivers for Grafix and other devices. drivers for hp540 for vista 64...

Take a look here:
http://h10010.www1.hp.com/wwpc/hk/en/sm/WF06a/321957-321957-64295-89315-89315-3764997.html

It says, for example, your video is "Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator X3100". So go to http://www.intel.com . Find the downloads section (in the Work submenu for American users) , find graphics, laptop .. and realize the X3100 isn't there. It's probably a 965 chip -- try downloading those drivers.

Welcome to frustration. HP won't tell you exactly what your hardware is.

Two suggestions: Clicking Start, and then typing devmgmt.msc in the box at the bottom may tell you what your hardware is, exactly, so you can search for the right drivers.

Another idea: Go to http://www.radarsync.com and see if that free software can find drivers for you. RadarSync is far from perfect, but it may help.
