Removal of music want to start with empty system

Hi,

formatting a clippers mp3 player and not having a display screen is not that difficulty to access, you will need to connect it with a laptop or a desktop computer to be able to remove what ever data you want to access in the mp3 player.

Get a cable that will work with your mp3 and connect to the PC you want to use.Click on my computer you will see and icon of your mp3 on that page, double click to get access into it highlight any data you see inside and delete all.

But make sure you have the software for the mp3 player for the mp3 to work properly with your system.

Good luck.

Gogear 1gb-player problem, player connect to pc, player format. It cannot be done formar because it cannot be opened on PC

Use the player to do the format. If you use the computer's operating system to format the Gogear you may delete critical files for the device or change the file system so the device cannot communicate with it's memory. If you are having difficulty communicating with the device it could be a driver or software issue. Make sure the device's drivers are installed and up to date. Make sure you have the proper software for the device installed. You could also try and update the firmaware of the device. These updates will be available from the Phillips website.

Installation, reformat

There are two ways to format an Mp3 player - one on the computer itself, and one in Windows Media Player. Both methods will end up erasing all the songs on the player, but it will be "good as new" after that.

The following procedures will erase all songs on the player.
To erase from the computer:
Check if the file system is NTFS. If yes, format it to FAT or FAT32. - Connect player to computer, click my computer, right click on icon of mp3 player and select format.
You can also format the player in Windows Media Player itself.
Connect your Mp3 player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "name of Mp3 player here 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.

San disk player repair

I don't know if this will help but you can try this:

If you can, open your mp3 player and go to settings. Under the USB menu change it to MSC.

If you can't don't worry, but either way try this:

Plug in the mp3 player to the computer. Open the My Computer on your desktop, right click on the Sansa mp3 player and click Format. Make sure Fat32 is checked and Quick format is UNchecked. Then format the mp3 player. After that it should be clean and work just like a USB drive.
