When the details to print appear on screen and the print button is clicked a further tab appears which asks details to save. Any information given on this tab (which is not needed) is ignored and any attempt to close it also cancels the print request.

Thank you for your e-mail. I have not corrected the problem but decided I would wait until
a family member, more technically aware than I, can come in and perhaps find it may
be something simple.
Thank you for your concern. Mrs J Taylor

How to get rid of the ask toolbar?

To uninstall Ask toolbar from your computer, you can follow the steps below:
1.To uninstall "Ask Toolbar" program from Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7, click the "Start" button, then click on "Control Panel". If you are using Windows 8, drag your mouse pointer to the right edge of the screen, select "Search" from the list and search for "Control Panel".
2.When the "Control Panel" window opens click on the "Uninstall a program" option under "Programs" category.

Once you have successfully uninstalled the above mentioned applications from your system, you also need to reset your browser to remove Ask toolbar and Ask.com from the respective browser. To do this, refer to the steps listed below:
(Important: While resetting your browser(s), go through the on-screen instructions very carefully to understand what all changes will be made in your browser once it is reset.)

If the reset didn't fix your problem you can restore some of the information not saved by copying files to the new profile that was created. If you don't need this folder any longer, you should delete it as it contains sensitive information.)

In my yahoo, add content, change themes, edit layout does nothing when clicked on

Clearing your computer's cookies in Microsoft Internet Explorer is easy.
Clearing your permanently filed cookies will make your computer run a little bit faster, and eliminate the link between you and the websites you frequent.

Cookies are small files that websites store on your computer to remember your account information, login, password and who you are.

If you want to eliminate another party tracking your preferences, read on to learn how to clean up cookies on a computer.

Turn on your computer and allow it to boot up.
Open a Microsoft Internet Explorer web browser.

It doesn't matter what web page first loads.
Locate the "Tools" tab or icon on the top right hand corner of your screen.

Click on the tab or icon, so a drop-down menu appears.
Browse the list and find "Internet Options."

Use your mouse to left click on "Internet Options."

Notice a new box open on your screen.
The bar across the top of this new box should say "Internet Options."

Below this bar will be several tabs.
Use your mouse to left click on the "General" tab.

Scan the box and locate the section titled "Browsing History."
Read the description under browsing history to be sure it includes the option to delete temporary files, browsing history, cookies, saved passwords and web form information.

Under the description, you will see two boxes, "Delete" and "Settings."

Click on the "Delete" button.
A new bow will appear on your screen.

The bar across the top of the box will be labeled "Delete Browsing History."
Notice the options in this box include the ability to delete temporary Internet files, cookies, history, form data and passwords.

Select the button that says "Delete Cookies" if you wish to only delete the cookies data files.
If you would like to get rid of the history list of websites you have visited, all your logins, passwords and form data, select the "Delete All" button at the bottom of the box.

Selecting either "Delete Cookies" or "Delete All" will make another box appear on your screen. You will see a confirmation message asking if you're sure you'd like to complete this action. Select "Yes" or "No."

Selecting "Yes" will allow your computer to delete the cookies.

Deleting these temporary internet files only takes a minute or two.

If you haven't deleted the cookies in awhile a task bar may appear to show you're the progress of the delete.

When the computer is finished, simply close out all the extra boxes that popped up.

Edit My Yahoo Account Web Page

If you have a Yahoo! account, you have the option of customizing your "My Yahoo!" homepage. My Yahoo! differs from the standard Yahoo! homepage.

On the standard homepage, you can only customize the "My Favorites" area.
When you access My Yahoo!, you can personalize your page so that it features the subject areas that most interest you.

You can also apply a favorite color or theme to the background of the page.
These customizations allow you to have a personalized experience on the Yahoo! website and saves you time by isolating the information that matters most to you.

Visit the Yahoo! homepage and log in using your username and password.
Click on the My Yahoo! link in the upper left area of the page.

Change the appearance of your My Yahoo! page.
Click the "Change Appearance" button that appears in the blue bar in the middle of the screen.

Choose your theme by clicking through the Colors, Textures and other menu items and clicking on the options you like best.

Don't overlook the arrows in the lower right that will let you scroll through additional options.
Once you choose a theme, you can customize that theme and change its layout by using the menu options on the left side of the page.

Click "I'm Done" to save your changes.
Click the "Add Content" button to the left of the "Change Appearance" button.

Use this menu to select the options that you would like to appear on your My Yahoo! page.

Use the "Browse Content" menu to the right to select types of content, such as Entertainment, Money, News or Sports, and peruse the options that appear on the screen.

Use the search module to search for content by name, if you have trouble finding something in the menu.
Click on the "Add" button in the icon for each option that you want to add to your page.

Click "I'm Done" to save your changes. (See Below)

Use the site's "Drag and Drop" functionality to move the content modules where you want them to appear on your page.

Click on the title bar for a content area, hold your mouse button down, and drag the content across the page by moving your mouse.

I just installed a new color cartridge in my 8650 Lexmark printer. The ink cartridge acts as if it is empty. Printer keeps telling me to align cargridge. Worked perfectly before the new ink installed. Not...

  1. On your computer, go to "Start," "Programs," "Lexmark Series." Click "Lexmark Control Program."
  2. Step 2 Select the "Cartridges" tab. Click "Change Cartridges." The Change Cartridges screen appears, displaying the animated instructions for installing or changing cartridges. When you have finished viewing the animation, click the "Finished" button.
  3. Step 3 Remove the tape covering the print head of the new print cartridge. Insert the new print cartridge as shown in the animation.
  4. Step 4 When the "Choose Cartridges" screen appears, select the cartridge(s) you installed in your printer from the list boxes. Click the appropriate box to reset the ink levels to full. Click "OK."
  5. Step 5 The Automatic Alignment screen appears. Click "Align" to align the print cartridges for best print quality. The printer prints a page with a bi-directional alignment pattern. On the printed test page, locate the number that comes closest to forming a straight line under the bi-directional alignment pattern. Enter that number as the bi-directional alignment setting in the Alignment Cartridge dialog box. Click "OK."
