Error 0X80070005 is a typical Windows Error Code. This error usually occurs during installation or Windows ..
After researching what this code may mean there seems to be some kind of .exe modification done with some sort of software a game or demo software you may have loaded either knowing or not knowing this. Remove your latest demo software's after this happened. Kids are notorious for getting this sort of thing on the parents computers. When they are searching for games or other free software or freeware to download. I think it is a software issue from a previous download. Remove any software that you may have installed before the error occurred. Another thing I would do if this was me is download CCleaner it is a great cleaner program that will assist with registry errors and remove program errors as well. Also you may want to download Spybot Search and Destroy as well I use both of these freeware programs they remove add ware and spy ware, mail ware etc off of your machine automatically. John
Most likely it is a corrupt software installation.
You can try the easy things first:
1) Unplug the USB cable from the computer
3) Plug the USB cable back into the computer, see if the communication error happens again
If that doesn't work, time to reinstall the software:
1) Go to Control Panel > Add Remove Programs OR Programs (depending on which version of Windows you have)
2) Remove every piece of software related to your printer
3) Unplug the USB cable from your computer
5) Disable any Anti-Virus or Firewall software that you have running
6) Re-run the printer installation software
hi, i have a story to tell,,first time i got a pc for my son,, we install many games and softwares,,we didn't know that some of this games and softwares may corrupt some programs and even the windows..Today before we install any games and softwares we check the list of programs or wright on paper ,programs from "add remove programs" of our xp..If we install new game or software and became unstable or sometimes hanging,,better remove it from "add remove progams",,not uninstall the program..don't install any downladed software if you are not aware of that software,,
That getPLUS error is from the updater that came with an adobe software. try uninstalling it if you find it in Add/Remove Programs and then in mozilla, uninstall or disable any plug-in named getPlus. then don't download getPLUS software anymore.
also, download the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.
Try the following regardless of the software as this is the common error message provided by Microsoft. Of course this won't rule out either a corrupt installer or incompatibility's
Disable/Configure any anti-spyware or anti-virus software on your system during installation process. For example: Spybot Search and Destroy Program or Norton Anti-Virus
Check to see if any spyware or adware is installed on your system blocking the completion of install process.
Check to see if you find any unwanted entry in Add/Remove Programs or Internet Explorer - Add/On's section (Tools - Internet Options - Programs -> Manage Add On's). If you found one, remove/disable this entry.
On Windows Vista, disable UAC (User Access Control) feature for your account
