There is not the ability to use Gears on a Mac, yet. The Google team is currently working on bring Gears to the Apple family. Keep checking the site as it seems that it will be available soon.

Actually, I am wrong on that one. I was thinking of the Chrome browser. I am sorry.

Usually Google is really good with your privacy so I wouldn't worry all too much. From what I have heard it performs well. What it mainly does is tweaks your browser to perform better.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

If you are talking about in a web browser, go to Google and search "adblocker for chrome" if you use Google Chrome, "adblocker for firefox" if you use Firefox, etc. If you don't know which browser you use, visit this website: http://whatbrowser.org/ and when you go to Google, search "adblocker for [your browser name]"

Open your internet browser. In the address bar type www.Google.com it will now go to Google. Now go to top of screen and click on the "tools" tab then click "options" or "Internet options" depending on what browser you're using. Now just click on the " use current page" tab and that will get you back to google. Make sure to hit "Apply" or "Ok" at bottom of page : )

Macbook air, when trying to play tutorial on apple.com, no video and sound is doubled. support suggested to delete all divx files, but the problem still exists. any suggestions short of reinstalling OS?

First off, what browser are you using? I would recommend attempting to change browsers either to Google Chrome (http://www.google.com/chrome/intl/en/landing_chrome_mac.html?hl=en) or Firefox (http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/products/download.html). Sometimes the solution is as simple as this. If that did not work, I would recommend opening Disk Utility (Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility) and checking/repairing permissions. Good Luck.
