Question about E-Machines eMachines Monitor E15T4
My monitor worked fine whan i went to bed i got up and tried to turn it on the light turns blue and the screen will say no signal then it returns to standby mode.
A friend gave me this computer because he got another and was tired of messing with this one ... he says he turned it off one night and it would never boot back up , sso i had a new 160 gig hd which is the same that was in it and i installed it thinking this would be a quick fix......... i reformatted with xp pro which is what i had put on this machine a couple years earlier and it was fine....it reformatted just fine and now the monitor says no signal....so i hooked the monitor up to another machine and the monitor is fine ....im stumped , any help would be appreciated.....i even removed the hd and put it in another machine and it worked great even with the monitor... got any clues?????

You'll need to check the cable connections and the computer that it is attached to. The monitor may be going into standby mode because the computer went into Suspended/Hibernate mode. Try restarting the computer. If you're unable to do this, try a hard power off and then try to turn it back on.
