SOURCE: I have a Pioneer SG-540

I use the sg 540 equalizer for cd and tuner. (I have two of them) I also use the sa 940 to power my sound. On the tuner input of the amp, i used standerd rca cables and connected it to the output of the equalizer. then i connected rca cables from the input of the equalizer to the output of the tuner. this only works when the top equalizer button is pushed on. hope it works for you.

Connect equalizer to preamp outputs and inputs on receiver. If none, use tape monitor input/outputs to set up equalizer.

Can you hook up a pyramid graphic equalizer 8600 to a Pioneer receiver audio video multi-channel vsx - D 912

The ideal way to do it is to hook up the preamp outputs of receiver directly to equalizer and the equalizer outputs to the amp inputs on receiver. Then unit will work with all sources.

Im having trouble hooking up my equalizer to my Pioneer audio/video multichannel receiver vsx-814

Looking at the back..bottom right corner is CDR/Tape in and out. Connect the in on the eq to the out of CDR/tape, connect the out of the eq to the in of CDR/tape.
You should then be able to use the CDR/tape monitor button to switch the equalizer in and out.

Crackle problem in right channel of pioneer VSX-D810S Receiver.

I don't particularly know the model, but I can make some generic suggestions.

If you have a speaker ON/OFF switch check the switch. In some of these units there is a speaker protection relay. There are sometimes issues with the relay. Also, investigate for any cold solder connections on the circuit board.

I have seen crackling come from defective components on the circuit board. Finding the defective components can be very involved. This will require the service schematics, and the proper diagnostic tools to persue.

Need to do a hard reset

Usually, a hard reset can be done by unplugging the AC cord from the AC wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. This is true for most electronic devices. If you wish to make a system reset, you should enter its service mode option, and is really a semi-skilled work. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. volume up not down is not normal there is a problem with the variable resistor (volume nob) every thing else is normal thats dolby certain sounds make them louder where as other sounds make them quieter it helps make you feel more emersed in the audio

Denon avr-1909 crackling sound while watching Uverse HD.

It may may the the AT+T box is really not compatible with the AVR or the Pioneer.

Check the specs on those input/outputs for the Ubox and the receiver.
See if they agree. If so, try another hookup method like HDMI ( which carries the audio too)
