SOURCE: I have a Pioneer SG-540

I use the sg 540 equalizer for cd and tuner. (I have two of them) I also use the sa 940 to power my sound. On the tuner input of the amp, i used standerd rca cables and connected it to the output of the equalizer. then i connected rca cables from the input of the equalizer to the output of the tuner. this only works when the top equalizer button is pushed on. hope it works for you.

Im having trouble hooking up my equalizer to my Pioneer audio/video multichannel receiver vsx-814

Looking at the back..bottom right corner is CDR/Tape in and out. Connect the in on the eq to the out of CDR/tape, connect the out of the eq to the in of CDR/tape.
You should then be able to use the CDR/tape monitor button to switch the equalizer in and out.

How do you connect a home pioneer graphic equalizer sg-9 to a sansaui r-7 receiver?

Use the tape monitor loop. Connect from the TAPE REC output on the receiver to the INPUT on the equalizer and from the OUTPUT on the equalizer to the PLAYBACK input on the receiver. YOU can then switch the equalizer in and out using the TAPE MON switch. I think the Model Seven had two tape loops, so just keep everything on the same loop.

PROBLEM WITH THE AUDIO OUT CHANNEL

It sounds like you may have a bad cable. The most common place for a small gauge cable (such as RCA, TPS, XLR, etc) with metal connectors to fail is in the stain relief which often fails to live up to its name. An easy way to check this is to grab the cable near the connector and wiggle it. If the sound crackles and changes volume levels suddenly then you may want to try a replacement cable. If the replacement doesn't help, you should use a contact cleaner such as "Blue Shower 2" that is approved for electronics use. Make sure your mixer is switched off and disconnected from its power source before using any cleaners to avoid any risk of electric shock. Apply the cleaner to all exposed output connectors on the mixer. Hope this cleans up your output prolems

Pioneer deh p7500mp

definitely a heat problem. There is a chip (or set of chips, perhaps audio output chips) that work fine when cool, but when they are hot they start to fail. Common problem with IC's. Heat is not a friend of these devices. Time to get it repaired or get a new one, depending on cost of course. Also, do you have an amp attached? Perhaps the amp is the device with the failing IC's.
