Miele makes a descaling tablet for there own coffee maker they might work, and you should try and find the manufacturer for that machine to find those gaskets.

It says error 8 and not working

Error "8" is an NTC (temperature sensor) fault. I would advise you to contact the manufacturer for further advise on this but in my experience, it is not a major issue and can be sorted fairly easily.

Tassimo instructions how to use limescale tablets?

If the limescale is in the pot, put tablet in pot & boil.
If in the maker, fill with water, 3/4, then add tablet. Let disolve, then run water through machine. Run clear water through at least 2 more times before using.

My machine is out of warranty and has become faulty. The error message is: "brew unit blocked" . No flow is apparent. Please advise best course of action to repair it. Thanks Eugene Joubert

Remove the brew unit and check the screen below the red o-ring that might be blocked. If the screen is clear and you still get the same result then you will have to remove the 2 screws from the top of screen to the output tube, carefully there is a spring and in there we do not want to lose, then clean out tube and you should be back in business.

My machine displays "Need to Prime". I attempt to prime it but the message keeps reappearing. In other words is seems that it is unable to be primed in the usual fashion. Any advise would be...

Ventilate message

That means the pump needs to be primed by running water through the wand. Push the water button and open the knob on the right. You will hear the pump change tone when it primes and the light or message will disappear. If you have a restriction in the intake line the message will not go away. There is a flow meter inside the machine that measures water flow. If the flow meter does not spin when the pump is running, the computer thinks that the pump is not primed. Coffee grounds can get into the intake and restrict the flow meter. If you get a restriction in the water intake (below the water tank, on the machine) the pump may run and water comes out, but the flow meter does not create the jet of water to spin the turbine wheel to send impulses to the computer. You get the ventilate message. One thing to remember is when you are working on the water system (have the water tank off) do not fill the bean hopper and visa versa. Keep them covered when working on the other. Cross contamination will damage a machine fast
The first thing that I would check is the tip of the steam wand for a plug. If that is clear then I would suspect a clogged flow meter. If you can get the flow meter out it twists apart and don't loose the parts and the dot on the turbine goes up. Clean out the small opening on the bottom pipes where the hoses attach. Look inside and make sure that they are clear before reassembling.

Impressa S9 keeps beeping "clean now". Have run cycle several times. Tried cleaning out the tamping disk area. turned machine on and off. Still getting the "clean now" message and beeping.

There could be several reasons for this problem but I can only think of the following:
1.) The internal sensor may have gone "bad". The sensors are sensitive and prone to failure. But before you give up, see #2 & 3 below.
2.) A few things to check:
- Make sure you are using the recommended white cleaning tablets*. If the tablets aren't used then there may still be oil build-up in the brewing chamber.
- When indicated during the cleaning cycle, be sure to remove the tray and bean container for at least 20 seconds and then replace, even if they are already empty.
*Cleaning tablets can be ordered from www.capresso.com.
3.) If you don't have cleaning tablets on-hand then you can try running a regular brewing cycle using white vinegar** instead of water. Follow with at least 2 cycles of clear water (to rinse) before brewing your first cup of java.
***This method is probably not recommended by your manufacturer. I have used it on my machines without incurring any problems but I can't guarantee that it's safe for your machine.

The entire pdf instruction manual for your machine can be downloaded from the following website: http://www.capresso.com/pdf/s9_instructions.pdf

Good Luck!

I am in need of a new filter holder to my machine. Can anyone help me finding a place to buy this? (Vice versa koala, espresso machine) Best regards, Astrid G. S. Fostervold

What part do you mean exactly? I have a couple of bits left from my dead machine. The large group with the bucket for the coffee is not in usable condition, but the actual basket is fine. If its just the handle you want, I also have a spare one of those from the pod-style group. These are red in colour. I can ship them to you at the cost of shipping only. Email me if you are interested: koalacoffeemachine AT gmail DOT com

Spare parts for Vice Versa Coffee

Hi there, As far as i am aware all the vice versa places do not carry spares for the koala machines anymore. Im in scotland and tried, UK, Hong Kong, Italy, Spain and a couple of other with no luck whatsoever. I am a domestic coffee machine engineer and over the past few months have picked up some koala machines from here and there. If you contact David at coffeeservice@live.com and let me know what it is you are after, i can see if i have it and get it sent out to you at best prices and cheap postage. Don't worry i distribute worldwide and have had no problems so far. Let me know what you think.

All the best
