Hi my speakers all of the sudden popped and quit working. Now there is no LED showing power to the speakers. I cannot even take the speakers or the sub woofer apart to look at them. What do you suppose is wrong with it?

Have you : tried another set of speakers or headphones in your audio out plug on your soundcard? : checked the volume in the taskbar? : had a look at device manager to see if there are any hardware issues relating to your sound? These are just a few of the things I would check ;) Cheers
The inbuilt speakers on my laptop do not work. I believe the
headphone input socket to be the problem because when i stick my
headphones in it only works if i squeeze the laptop near the socket. The
input has been quite heavily used so i'm quite certain its broken
somehow. Anyway, my layman theorising has led me to the conlcusion that
my laptop thinks that headphones are plugged in when they're not and so
disables the speaker so maybe if i could disable the headphone input the
speakers might work. I'm sorry if this sounds confusing but my computer
knowledge is really, really limited. Any help would be massively
Just relocate the speakers, try moving them away reception and transmission gadgets, the wireless connection just like celphones emits interferences picked up by speakers,
this also implies like when you put a mobile phone on top of a speaker and then someone calls, the speaker sounds off distinct sound patterns.
No, i don't think so, but probably you audio was disconnected Check the sound properties on control panel. Check back connections, the power of your speakers. (bad power supply - replace) Check your speakers on another computer
