I have a sharp TU-T2HR32 freeview+HD recorder and cant remember by parental guidence pin, how do i re-set it?

The default pin is 0000.
They hold the reset as a service call charge.

it should an option in settings called factory reset. You will LOOSE all your settings if you do that though.

Please refer its user manual. There will be descriptions about, how to override the partial lock temporary. Follow the instructions, and override it; at the same time, go to set a new password to parental lock. Remember this code, switch OFF the set.
By the next time when you switch it ON, enter the new password that you've just entered, when the set ask for.

Ok this info does not seem to be anywhere so here goes.....

Grundig gud300hd and others of same build alba ect...... set top box pin reset
UNLOCK CODE1. Press MENU and go to Settings and press OK.
2. Go to Parental Control and press OK. The 'Enter the PIN Code' menu will be displayed.
3. Press i (information) button once then enter 4000.
4. Go to Change PIN Code and press OK.
5. Press i (information) button once then enter 4000.
6. When it prompts for New PIN enter the desired PIN number using 0~9 keys. Enter it again to confirm.

Hold the HDMI button on the remote control for 5 seconds to reset the output to 1080i

It may be overheating. Is anything sat on top or underneath it, like a DVD player, amp etc?
Has it ever worked correctly?

When the television asks for the code immediately press and hold down the ch ^ and volume + buttons on the side of the television until it clears.

I had this problem aswell! I tried everything but ended up phoneing the help line, when they asked for what frequancies they found out i was picking up different ones form two different stations. I took the ariel out of the back on the freeview box and run a scan for channels (of course it came up with none as the ariel is unpluged but it overwirites and clears the incorect frequencies). Then plug the areil back into the freeview box and run a scan for channels. After doing this i picked up the correct frequencines form the correct station and my recordings actually recorded! If you phone the help line (08444159159) they will tell you what frequencies you should be picking up. I hope this qorkes for you!

connect it to the box with a SCART lead, select A1 or A2 with the channel up / down buttons and away you go
(select A3 if you use the phono connectors under the front panel)

On my Aquos it's saying no carrier and database empty what do I do, I have trying to reset TV but free view isn't coming on and it's saying carrier 0.

can anyone help
