Stop print for sometimes - Epson LX 1170 Matrix Printer

Check printers settings, while printing, sometimes in bottom right hand corner, small caption to enable you you stop printing., click on it with Mouse. Hope this helps !

cancel via printer options in windows.. and turn off the printer... turn it on again.. hopefully it will solve your problem

it will be in the print queue where you can stop it printing right click to delete what you are printing and yes it will be in the print settings you have set up
you might have to uninstall the printer then reinstall to adjust your print settings
or just go into your printers settings to alter/change the settings

Check the length of the USB cable . If it is longer than 10' it will cause the problem of stopping half way through a print

Try the feed tires in the tray first. More than likely the paper is not being picked up and causing jam message. The separation roller also has a hub on it to prevent a second sheet from feeding. Sometimes these start to lock up ,a little oil on the hub sometimes relieves some of the tension.

This has two ink cartridges 007 and 009. The black sometimes does not seat and lock in por becomes losse. Sometimes the lock in place tab becomes broken. If using Epson brand they have a chip in them that stops it from printing.sometimes and needs a reset progeram from Epson. best guess the cartrdige is loose.!

either you upgreat memory or print order less than 50 pages at a time.

Try to reset your system one of two ways. With the printer plugged into your computer unplug from the wall for 30 seconds then plug back in. If that doesnt work then try a hard reset by pressing and holding the Cancel and Left arrow button. Hold down for 30 seconds then plug the system back in and do a test print then tr and print off the internet. If that doesnt work then unistall the Printer software and reinstall the software.

Do you have setup accounts on the copier?

try cleaning the connectors to the chips of your toner, transfer unit.
