The tv you have , does has an exceptional picture i know as i have one, are you sure that it isnt the picture coming from the canal sat box thats the problem. Easiest way of telling is to hook up a good dvd player, blu ray if you have it and play that on the tv, if the picture isnt good on that then the problem lies with your tv, if it does play well then its the sat box that is the problem and the only way to fix it ,is to upgrade the box
The best way to clear the picture on these sets is to remove the screen and clean the mirrors. If it is still not clear after that it may be a bad lamp or failing capacitors in the chassis. They cause wavy lines and makes the picture blurry.
There are 2 things you try. go into menu to picture setup scroll down to sharpness, back this setting all the off. If this doesn't do it, go to back of the set on right hand side, if you can see focus slot adjust it slightly.
possibly go to the menu, and go to quality, if it isnt set on fine, then change it,or, set your scene on auto, so if the pic is fast moving, it can adjust to take clearer pics. otherwise i am of no help.
Turn off the flash on indoor pictures. also your ccd could be acting up. and it needs to be changed. The ccd is connected to the back of the lens. and it converts light to data. Hope this helps
Sounds like you either have a bad card or a bad HDMI cable. Scarts are not the most dependable when it come to HD imaging there is alot of converting going on espically if the TV isnt NTSC standard to begin.
