I broke the charger port on the top needs to be fixxed, sony sent it back saying it wont be covered under warranty.

ask for a new phone before the warranty runs out its classified as a faulty item its there responsibility to replace this item if they ignore your request tell them you will take this further to consummers affair fair trading they will soon replace this item

You did not furnish the model of Nokia you are asking about. I cannot furnish accurate advice without that information. HERE is an eBay search result to show you what the port on the 900 series looks like. It can be replaced, but you need to be capable and know what you're doing for this. If it is still under warranty, have Nokia or yuor carrier handkle this.

Go to nokia center. I broke my USB port too. I told the staff at nokia care and they agreed to fix it since my phone is still in warranty. I told them i accidentaly broki it and they said they will log it as factory defect. Nice :) I got it back now and they cahnged the entire board.

This is a common problem with the W910i - it has been happening to mine since I bought it, nearly 2 years ago. I sent back the first one which was replaced, but didn't bother sending back the second one even though it had the same problem. Searching online for this problem, there are threads out there and it seems this happens to all W910is - and it also seems Sony Ericsson aren't interested in fixing it. So unless you can get a new model under the warranty, nothing you can do, sorry...

Could be an overheating issue or worse a total system failure, if you are under warranty its no problem, get it fixxed, if not you will have to pay approx $180 to get it fixxed by calling sony ( the number is on the ps3 website) and they will send you a box to ship it to them.

The issue is the charger port on the ENV2 breaks fairly easily. The first step is to contact your carrier to see if it is covered under warranty. If it is, great get it replaced.

If not, you have 3 options:

1. you can get the charging port repaired. The cost is about 50 dollars.
2. you can get a new phone. cost ???

It seems your charger port is broken, it hapfens often on cellphones, wear and tear. Check to see if its under warranty, and it can be replaced. Check my profile if you need more help.

Try a different battery. If that doesnt work, it may be your charger port. Take an old tooth brush, turn off the phone spray alcahol on the toothbrush, and scrub the port on the phone. If that fails your charger port needs to be replaced. Check with your provider about the warranty. If its not under warranty, check my profile and we can help you for sure.
