Question about Computers & Internet
If you want to write Windows software, you'll need to pick up something like Microsoft Visual Studio 2000/2005/2008. If you're a student, many colleges offer this at a huge discount.
If you want to write software for mac, you'll need to get a copy of XCode from your Mac install disk 1.
If you want to write software for Linux, it's already included.
In any of the above cases, you'll need to learn a programming language like c++, Java or Python. Beginner frequently start with C++, as do many college computer science curriculums. Either way, get a book on your programming language from your local library.
