Question about ATI All-in-Wonder 2006 PCI Express , (256MB) (256 MB) PCI Express Graphic Card

Need help with unscheduled recording

I have a Gateway 506GR and an All-In-Wonder ATI x1300 card. After I schedule a recording and after I remove the scheduling, the darn thing continues to record at the same time each night that I had set it for previously. Example:
Say I set it up to record LOST at 9 PM every Thursday. At the end of the season I delete that scheduling and go about my biznes. The next week at 9 PM on Thursday it still records for an hour. Has anyone else had this problem? and what can I do to remedy it?

Thanks in advance,

Marcus Tee

Ok my graphics card is a 128mb ATI Radeon x1300,

You may need to reset your screen to the new card - or it could be a faulty graphics card.

Problem running video with ATI x1300 video card

that is an old budget graphics card not meant for gaming. An Ati 3650 or Nvidia 8600gt or better would suffice for gaming. The minimum specs for games show what is needed just to play the game at the lowest detail and resolution. UPGRADE!

This is not really my area of expertise. I think you would be better off asking Ekse. He would be able to guide you better in this regard.

Cheers!

Dell computers are hard to upgrade.

hi will

yes these cards uses a lot of power. Check to see if the power supply pushes enough power to run the video card. I think these card needs its own power source so make sure you use a sepearate cable from the powersupply to the video card and not share it with other components.

if you have less than 400w powersupply thne this is morelikely your problem

good luck

smeags.
