Hold the volume button down on the t.v. & the split button on the remote at the same time for about 8 to 10 seconds. The t.v. tech. did this with my panasonic 61lcx65. Also I had 2 fairly large red / orange & 1 blue spots on the screen which I thought were a result of the bulb being bad , but the tech. attached a device he called an eeprom jig & it reset the chip ? Now the picture is like new again.
