I have a 10' craftsman miter saw mdl.#113 234600 I broke the plastic handle and have had no luck locating a replacement handle. Can you assist me with this request.

Not much available for that vintage saw. The switch might be a possibility from a similar saw. Send images to one of the spares companies. Epoxy resin could fix the handle.

to replace the handle, simply unscrew the screws holding the old one, and replace on a new handle.

to obtain the new handle, try contacting the manufacturer or fabricate your own out of a suitable material.

First locate the model number of your Ryobi Miter saw... then search Google for Ryobi Miter saw replacement parts... one result I got is below:

Try that link, select your Ryobi saw model and zoom into the provided drawings so you can locate the switch, screws, and spring (if needed). The part numbers are supplied and you can order them online easily on that same link... Then just repair your saw with the new parts. As you already noticed, the saw is easy to disassemble and get access to the parts for repair. Have fun and good luck...

Most miter guages are relatively interchangeable, so it's possible a current Craftsman model will work in your miter slots. Just check the depth and whether or not there's a slot in the bottom sides for a key to lock it in place, then compare the depth to the new one you find. There are also aftermarket and specialty miter guages available from the standard woodworking tool catalogs and online. Replacement parts could be an issue.

I would reattach it with epoxy. Go to the hardware store with the handle and let the clerk help you pick out the best epoxy for the job.

if its like my dewalt, u have to unscrew it before u canunlock the handle. try unsrewing it.
