With your 1000 zx1 kicker amp you would not be able to wire it at two ohms running at 1000 watts with a dual 2 ohm you would either have to run the speakers you have at 1 ohm or 4 ohms so unless you get different amps that are 1 ohm stable i would reccomend you getting the dual 4 ohm subs

They are dual 2 ohm all L7 are 2 voice coil per speaker so it is like 2 speakers not 1 the dual 2 ohm version is so you can use 2 speakers wired in series to get a 2 ohm load 2 ohms + 2 ohms = 4 ohms then parralel the 2 at the amp to cut it in half to get 2 ohms. I have full warranties on mine and i dont really sell alot of them any way I prefer the hifonics they sound better last alot longer and take way more power and put out 3 times as much sound. but i can check it out if you have the info.

    the only impedance you can get with a 2 ohm dvc speaker is 1 ohm or 4 ohms and kicker amps are not 1 ohm stable you have to use 4 ohm dvc subs to use 1 sub per amp the sub i have is 4 ohm dvc thats also why i dont like kicker amps they are over rated on power and none are 1 ohm stable.

    so you will only get 500 watts to each sub if you use the 2 ohm dvc subs which means you should wire the speakers in series ( + - and +- then wire both speakers to the amp the positive of 1 coil and neg from the other coil at the amp for each speaker ) and use both subs on 1 amp for a 2 ohm amp load and 1000 watts rms. if you use dvc 4 ohm u can load the amp at 2 ohms and use 2 amps and have 1000 watts rms per sub. sorry for the bad news.

    the good news is you can buy a hifonics from me that is inexpensive and is .5 ohm stable and run any dvc sub combo you want and have 2000 watts rms split between the subs

    if you want exactly 2000 watts rms 5000 peak it is 325 shipped it is a massive huge amp 20" long 12" wide but it is a monster and it is slightly under rated and requires a 250 amp fuse or circuit breaker. for a little less i can do a 1600 watt rms 4000 peak for 285 shipped. kicker doesn't have anything even close to it for any price. full 1 year warranty no questions asked i get blown speakers warrantied all the time and no one will honor warranties on blown speakers.

I'm about to hook up my KLH to an Onkyo Receiver with Audyssey sound features. 2 questions: it asks me to set my sub to 75 DB. Since my volume dial goes 0-10, which number maps to 75 DB? Also, what...

I think it wants you to raise the volume high enough on the sub so IT can hear at least 75dB. It can always adjust the sub downward if necessary. Max it out at the sub and let Audyssey deal with the adjustment.

Your crossover frequency selection would be a piont below which you want the sub to activate. It depends on the bass capabilities of your other speakers. You want some overlap so there's no droop in the crossover region where your main speakers roll off.

HIFONIC 1500D WATTS (2)2OHM L7s WAS TOLD CAN ONLY WIRE TO 350 WATTS EACH SPEAKER BEST BUY SAYS I NEED A NEW 1500 WATT KICKER AMP TO GET FULL POWER 1500 WATTS OR (2) 4 OHM L7S TO GET FULL 1 OHM 1500 WATTS

Look, if the amp is 1500watts mono, then you have the capability to run a sub up to the full 1500watts, but i see on the specs for this amp that it has output for 2 speakers, which means up to 750watts each speaker. That's more than enough to power your L7's. They're trying to sell you something you don't really need in my opinion. Hope this helps.

I have a used unit, need instructions on how to hook it up to a caddy 1995 factory am/fm radio

Are we talking a new deck/stereo or new speakers/subs?
A new deck will require a wiring harness (cheap at walmart or local auto place) and this will come with a set of directions and wiring diagram for your make/model vehicle.
Subs/Speakers can be wired into a stock AM/FM radio (though I have no idea why anyone would want to do this) fairly simply, The wiring diagram will be printed on one side of your stock radio letting you know where to attach the 12v constant, the remote wire, and the speaker wires.

I have 2 12" solo-baric l7s but don't know what

Get a dual vented box for them. Not some cheap stuff either or it wont last. Then make sure theyre facing the back when you hook them up. I know its weird but they hit WAY harder that way trust me.

Hello
I don't know your nationality. If you are in India you won't get anything for this damage, because all TVs sold here in India bears only one years "Service Warranty". No company here provides replacement gurantee. Means if the tv gets repaired within this period of time, the service center will repair for it for free, but you have to pay for the components replaced. In fact they will charge the price of the components plus service, and bill it all as components price.
If you are in India, it is better to get rid of it soon for that offer. But before that you must enquire about the exact price of the thing you wants to buy from them, because they will charge the price of the thing you buy plus the cost of the TV you are going to give them first, and will give a certain amount of discount for it. In fact you are giving the tv to them absolutely free. Did you got me?
This is the business trick of every business men in the world, where ever they be.

My 1994 e150 sound system sounds puny compared to what I believe stock should be. All the speaker work there just isnt much volume, bass, or treble. Is there an amp that boost the sound? where is it?

well first i would change all the mid speakers out to kenwood speakers and not the cheap ones cause the cheap ones are like stock speakers the more higher priced ones like the 80 dollar ones are equal to 300 dollar speakers then you should get a 2 channel or 4 channel MTX amp each speaker can take 150watts. your system would be alot better than stock. if anything look on crutchfield.com that would be the best place if you dont want to go to a car stereo shop in your area. if you plan to keep the deck stock then you need a hi-lo adapter which will hook up to the right or left rear speaker and the remote wire needs to go to the ignition wire behind the deck

Hello again. Sorry to say my knowledge is lil... I want to replace stock deck. Here is the stuff i want to put in it. Could you take a look and give an opinion if maybe i cant get away without putting a...

ok as for the deck just get the wiring harness for your car so you dont have to cut the old one out and that would eliminate the need for a wireing diagram with that done you should be able to hook all speakers you want to the stock spot so for a tweeter just hook it up with the door speaker there arnt any extra cords....you will only need a amp for a subwoofer unless you choose to put your mids and highs on one and if you didnt want to change your deck hook up the tweeters would be the same way hope this helped

How to order

The L7 I have is brand new in the box (not a speaker box just the retail packaging box) and the rms is 750 watts RMS and 1500 watts peak, but you are correct they blow easy when you push rated power to them, the hifonics subs will take 1200 watts rms all day long and over 3500 peak for burping at competitions, i run mine at 2000 watts everyday in a daily driver. if you hook 1 dual 4 ohm sub to a zx1000.1 it will be 2 ohm load on the amp so you will get 1000 watts to the sub so if you want to run it slightly underpowered to keep it from blowing use the 750.1 per sub, i can do those at about 250 each shipped

the price is 150 plus 10$ flat rate USPS shipping and yes I accept paypal Wyattconnolly@msn.com .

the warranty starts the day you buy it for 12 months but kicker will not cover burned or blown voice coils, that is why i recommended the hifonics (which is what i use to compete with now) because they put out better quality sound and alot more of it and they will take alot of abuse, if you want boxed speakers ready to go in kicker brand ported boxes I can have them drop shipped right to your door as well, the only reason i am selling the 1 L7 i have so cheap is because a customer ordered it then never paid for it so I am selling it at cost. be careful if you are buying on ebay as you have no warranty at all and you cant force the seller to give you 1 even if they say it has 1. because authorized dealers are not allowed to do internet sales at all so kicker and most other companies will not honor the warranties.

also you dont need 2 amps you can use 1 bigger amp and still run 2 subs just by changing how you wire the subs at the amp. 1 large amp costs less than 2 smaller 1's usually just not with kicker brand

The % of a discounted price

Lets say Your

MRP = 199
BESTSALE = 130

Now you want to calculate that howmuch percentage of BESTSALE i.e 130, will be added to get MRP i.e. 199.

If m right what do you want, then use the following formula:

Percentage = ((MRP/BESTSALE) - 1) x 100

In your case 199/130 = 1.5307....
So 1.5307 - 1 = 0.5307
Then 0.5307 x 100 = 53.07 %

Thanks
