look for any universal remote so long as it has your tv model code then you programme it according to the instructions given in the manual

Firstly how old is this TV.? Do you have extended Warranty on it.?
And finally have you tried a Universal Remote.?

Your best bet will likely be a Logitech Harmony remote. They are pricey ($100-$400) but they seem to have codes for all brands. Also bear in mind that you may not necessarily require the code for your TV, a code for a compatible TV will usually work.

If you want full functions, you need original remote.

Good luck. I have the same issue. No codes are available for the X2Gen. To make matters worse, it appears to use a non-standard frequency for the carrier signal, maening that other remotes won't work with the TV.

I purchased a learning remote, thinking I would just "teach" it the codes directly from the X2Gen TV remote. This didn't work either.

There appears to be no way to use any remote other than the one supplied with the TV. Whatever you do, don't lose it!

check to see if another major brand produced the tv, like lg produces westinghouse stuff, and see if the other brand works
