Hello, I have the right codes for our voice mail but can't change the main message when someone calls our office...When I play back the main message and busy signal, it has my new recording...But when I dial afterwards, it's always the old main phone message.

If your voicemail is a Toshiba in-skin and your main greeting is under 991 mailbox then the last message you change before getting out of programming will be the active message so listen carefully to the prompts and make sure that your new message is the active one when leaving programming. To help you I would need to know what type of Toshiba main cabinet you have. If you have a CTX or CIX it may be that your system call forward is turned off. If you dial #620 at the extension in trouble it will turn the system call forward on. #621 turns it off. The proper sequence for "No Answer Call Forward" is Press ext. button + #6031 (tone) + dial main ext for voice mail + timer (08~60)
(tone) . #6051 removes this type of forwarding.

Your phone is fowarded to Voice Mail and do not disturb is on. Turn DND button off. If it is not the case on your phone press intercom # key 601 then hang up. Then do intercom #key 604, dial your voice mail extension numbe, r press the speed dial Select button, dial 16, press the redial button then hang up.
You are asking questions about your Toshiba phone system and the voice mail system attached. You could have one of several different Toshiba phone systems and several different voice mails.
The system has timers for things like "No answer transfer timer" and also rules for what it does at that point. (transfer to voice mail box, transfer to voice mail branch, transfer to the operator.. etc..) It can get very complicated. Most likely you are just dealing with the no answer transfer timer for your specific phone port but even just changing that can be very complicated. Many Toshiba phone systems need to be programmed from a computer using specific software. If you do not have someone in the company that knows how to make simple changes to the phone system you would need to get a phone system installation company to make the changes. Hopefully you know the company that installed the system??
No it is not. that is for dialing home, pager or whatever. the voice mail system needs to have message notification on for your extension and the code it uses. This is done by your tech. If the phone will get a message ligt when moved to an extension that it is known working, on then it is NOT the phone. It is either the phone system or the voice mail system programming.
