Question about Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z3 Digital Camera
My problem is that everytime I change my expired batteries I have to set the date and time. Is there an internal battery that I don't knwo about? If so, how do I change it? If not, why would I have to set the date and time all the time?
Yes! Just like a laptop there is an RTC battery inside. Konica-Minolta says that it is a service facility task and that is because it's connections are soldered. If you have an adventurous streak or a competent electronics technician you can trust you can carefully explore inside but like a laptop repair it is not a good project for a brick layer. Any camera repair tech can handle the task and the battery may be non-standard.
