To play videogames on an old tv PLEASE HELP

You'll need to switch the TV into Video mode. Most TV sets will have a button on the front panel labelled "input" or "tv/video," and pressing this button will cycle through the various inputs your TV has.

Alternatively, this button may be located on your remote control.

Rarely, no button exists, and video input is selected by changing the channel below channel 2; as if you were trying to select channel 1. This will select the video input on sets without a separate input selector button.

When i plug in me sega genesis and plug it in to the t.v. no screen comes up not even a black screen how do i fix it

Check these things first:

1. The power supply puts out enough voltage and works okay.

2. Channel selector switch is in the channel 3 position.

3. Replace the AV/RF cable with a known good working one.

Does the Genesis power light come on?

Hi problems seting up vcr to tv ,cant get a good picture through video and channel 3 on tv losses picture when video is turned on

there should be a switch in the back of the vcr to change to broadcast channel.
either ch3 or ch 4
switch to channel 3 and test.
then switch to ch 4 and test
make sure the tv you are attaching to is ON channel 3 or 4

Digital converter box

You need to select channel 3 or 4 on your VCR! , or line-in if you connected through the (yellow/ white/ red) cable "better video quiality!" and selct the channel you want to record on your DTV box, not the VCR!

GO VIDEO DV2150

you can try going from the wall to the dvd/vcr first then to the cable box then to the TV. It may find the channels but they might not be in the order you usually wouls see them i.e chan 4 may be chan 34 etc. this will only work on an analog connection, if you have digital cable box it will not work. other than that, you have to control everythng from the cable box and the dvd remains on chan 3 at all times.
