CAM YOU HAVE TO FORMAT THE CARD. HERE'S SOME STEPS TO FORMAT THE CARD: In Playback mode, select the image you want to delete, then press OK to display the Playback menu. Select the Delete option and press OK. In the Delete sub-menu, use the buttons to highlight the option you want, and then press OK.These options include: Format Memory (Card)?Deletes all of the images, video clips, and files from internal memory or the memory card, and then formats the internal memory or memory card. A screen appears verifying that there are no images left in memory. Press the MODE button twice to enter [ ] Playback mode. Then press the button to enter the Playback menu. 3. Select [Delete] by using the / buttons, and press the button. 4. Select [Format ] by using the / buttons, and press the button. 5. Memory cards formatted in FAT 32 file system will not be recognized by this ViviCam 3785.

I HAVE A NEW POWER SHOT SX130 IS (CANNON0 I DO NOT KNOW HOW TODELETE THE DOWNLOADED PICTURES FROM THE MEMORY CARD

You can delete photos from your SX130 IS in two ways:
To Delete Photos Individually:
  1. Press Playback Mode button (looks like a play button and is located on the top right on the LCD-side of your camera)
  2. The last image you took will appear on the LCD screen.
  3. Use the Left & Right arrow keys or turn scroll wheel to cycle through your images
  4. Once you find an image you want to delete, press the Trash button. The image will be erased.
  5. Press the Playback Mode button or the FUNC/SET buttons to exit when done
To Delete ALL Photos
  1. Press the MENU button (bottom right button on LCD-side of camera) to bring up the Menu screen
  2. On the Playback tab (Looks like a Play button icon), use the arrow buttons or turn scroll wheel to scroll down to Erase. Press the FUNC/SET button.
  3. You now have three options Select, Select Range, and All images. Select will allow you to delete individual images, Select Range will allow you to select a series of images, and All images will delete all images from memory. This last one is the option we are looking for.
  4. Use the arrow keys or scroll wheel to choose All images
  5. Use the arrow key or scroll wheel to select OK when the Erase confirmation screen pops up.
  6. Your images will be erased!

Card is full; all pictures have been downloaded to my computer. How do I "delete all" from the camera? Olympus Stylus 300

In playback mode press >ok< select >mode menu< with the 4-arrow-pad, then select >card< then >card setup< then press the PLAY button below the arrow pad. Select >all erase< with the up/down buttons of the 4-arrow-pad and then press OK (the button beside the PLAY button). Confirm by selecting >yes< with the up/down button and press OK button again.
It's also a good habit to get into, to format the card after deleting the images (you can also just format the card - that will also delete all photos). To format the card start as above (Mode menu; card; card setup; press PLAY). Select >format< with up/down buttons then press OK. Select >yes< and press OK.

Hope that helps

I have managed to put a lock on my memory card in my camera... (it is on protection mode and dont know how to get it off as i want to delete all the pictures on the card. I have the old pentex optio wpi...

If your pictures are on the SD card in your camera, many of the sd cards have a small micro switch on one edge that will lock your card... you may want to pull it out of the camera and make sure that the physical lock isn't set..

Cant unlock a picture

If you want them to be permanently deleted you can format the memory card and this will clear the card of all data. If you just want these certain images deleted then you need to be in Playback mode - press the Menu button - go to Playback menu and press Ok - then choose the key option and turn it from ON to OFF. This will remove the lock and allow you to erase the selected image.

press up to select "YES", then hit "OK".

That's it you are done.
