Question about Canon PowerShot S500 IXUS 500 Digital Camera
I've had camera for several years. For some reason I can't turn it on with the on/off button. I have charged the battery. Is it ready for the junkyard or are there things I could try?

Press the DISP button. If that didn't fix it, then it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check the following two links for more info:
