You can purchase a new memory card at any electronics outlet like radio shack, best buy, circuit city, wal mart. You can bring in your camera with you and they will set you up with the right one. You can also get them online. If you still need any assistance please let me know. If you have a moment to accept and rate my solution accordingly I would greatly appreciate it.
    Thanks,
    lee

Remove the SD card first then see if the unit can turn on without the card. If it does turn on plug in the card then format it. If that does not work reset the camera. You can do that by giong to your options menu.

BE SURE THAT YOU GOT A FRESHLY CHARGE BATTERY INSTALLED.. IF THE UNIT HAS A CERTAIN MALFUNCTION ON THE SETTINGS, TRY TO REMOVE FIRST THE BATTERY FOR A WHILE, JUST TO DRAIN AND REMOVE SOME STORED POWER INSIDE.. THIS PROCESS WILL REMOVE THE SETTINGS, PUT IT INTO DEFAULT SETTINGS....

YOU HAVE TO FORMAT THE CARD.

HERE'S SOME STEPS TO FORMAT THE CARD:

    1. In Playback mode, select the image you want to delete, then press OK to display the Playback menu.

    2. Select the Delete option and press OK.

    3. In the Delete sub-menu, use the buttons to highlight the option you want, and then press OK.
    These options include:

Format Memory (Card)Deletes all of the images, video
clips, and files from internal memory or the memory
card, and then formats the internal memory or memory
card. A screen appears verifying that there are no
    images left in memory.

NOTE: Periodic formatting of the internal memory or memory
card will keep it clean of file remnants that may cause the
camera to lock up, save images slowly, or corrupt images.

I want to transfer pictures from my hp 435 camera to memory card,, how?

Connected the camera with the USB cable at pc, open Explorer pc program to view like a "external device", select your files and copy/paste en each folder. Other way could be using some external device to your SD Card.

My hp photosmart r707 keeps saying the card is unreadable, buti just used it yesterday. i cant reset it either. it wont let me and the computer wont read it

Sounds like you're connecting things like your camera or your card in a card reader and just yanking them out of your computer without using the "safely remove hardware" icon at the bottom right of your computer screen.

Depending on the model, but most Best Buy stores, or any electronics stores and Walmarts or Kmarts may have what you need. If for some reason none of those have it, check on Craigs list, or Ebay.

When SD card inserted into camera it says unsupported card.

I looked on the manual ...and doesn't say anithing about cards..except that it has to be an SD...maybe there is something wrong with the camera ..or is not a secure digital ...and is a multimedia ...or the other way around...
try to see if its not locked...and reformat it on the computer ..if the camera don't have the feature to format it ......maybe its too small ...or too little ...or damaged...

I bought a SanDisk card and when I put it in my camera it says unsupported card. I don't have cables to hook up to my computer. Will a SD card let me, if I can get one to work, transfer my photos onto the...

You might be having trouble with your sd card in the camera because it is too big. Some camera's will only use a certain size card or up to a certain size card. Check your manual for restrictions on the size of SD cards that the camera can use. Also you can buy a sd card reader for about $20 at most stores that sell cameras. Put the card in the reader and then hook it to your computer. You can then transfer the pictures to the computer or to another sd card. Hope this helps.
