Epson Stylus C66 InkJet Printer

On this printer the assembly came apart. How do you put it back together

    I was unable to do anything with it. I couldn't even get to the ink pads because I didn't want to have anymore trouble putting things back together. I have the two springs that are attached to the rest pad that I thought were the ink pads. I don' t know if you can help or not, it is just sitting on the counter. I haven't thrown it out yet.

    No but I can find out how to do it.

    How do you reverse the rating? I would be more than happy to do that. it was a stupid mistake but that's another story. 519

    First I went back and read all of the solutions that you had suggest again. The second thing I decided to do was to get all of the tools that you had suggested. Then I decided to get a little daring and take a few more parts off in the area out and found where the springs that had fallen off and where they needed to be attached to. I continued to remove the back of the printer off and found the white pads that everyone had been talking about. After washing and drying them I carefully put them back.

    Getting the housing back together was a little challenging too. After a bit it finally went together.

    I went back and reviewed your instructions again. Plug in the cables and turned on the machine and it was blinking green lights on the top. I had to hold buttons the way that you instructed several times. Finally they stopped, good thing because I was ready to give up.

    Then I downloaded the utility program. I thought that I would clean my heads first and align too before I started to use it to print.

    Finally I tried to print something and it actually worked?

    The biggest thing I found was that you have to sometimes go further into tearing something apart than you would like and the fear of breaking more sits into your mind. At this point I felt that I was unable to use it the way it was so what did I have to loose.

    Getting the right tools is another thing. Without them it is a waste of time and very discouraging.

    Reading the directions more than once or twice isn’t always enough. I just kept reading them while I tore it apart further and it worked, also I drew a diagram where everything belonged.

    I am really amazed that I was able to complete it!

    I SEARCH TO RESULT A PROBLEM TO DISFONCTIONNIN OF MY C66 , it refouled all ink if it not "origin"

This is a rather difficult request for help you've made. If a local individual had called me for help on this I would have to go pick up the printer and reassemble the unit myself with the help of the documentation I will post for you below. Use that information to get a handle on how to go about it. Without it in front of me I really can't give you direct advice. I hope you will understand. Sorry. So, please don't bother rating this solution as I can not be of any help to you.

    No problem on my asking. I do like to follow up.

    As someone who has worked on Ink Jets since they came around I have seen printers in your state of affairs. This is the time to consider hiring someone like me to get your printer and reassemble it for you. There are just too many techniques of this first, that second to allow me to talk you through it.

    What is your area code. I can do a database lookup on our experts who have listed their businesses by area code and one may be near you.

    Lastly, I would rather, in cases like this, not have a vote by rank from anyone as there is little I can do then offer advise. I do apprecaite your Thanks, for trying anyway. Our system uses this to rank our standing based on efforts to fix problems, thus our site name and not free advice dot com.

    I don't care if you change this or not, its up to you and it really isn't all that important it just a courtesy to remove it.

    Again, as much as I wish I could, I can't reach across the miles and look over your printer. That being said though, do you know how to edit photos of your printer so they're under 150K (our upload limit)? If yes, I'll download the PDFs myself and see if there isn't something we can do. Also, you could post a link to a file you upload to You Tube, Google is one of our Partners. A yes or no is sufficient. If you can may be there is something that can happen. Lastly, I can ask a friend and fellow expert of the same level of expertise to come in on this and as they say: two heads are better than one.

Printer says it needs servicing Epson stylus c66

The printer needs frequent servicing, call the local authorized printer service engneer to service the same. If the printer is under warranty please call the local vedor, If the printer is not under warranty, you can make annual service contract with the local printer vendor and get the printer serviced properly

My printer will not turn on

Here are some things to try:
1. Different plug (outlet) just to make sure it isn't the plug causing an issue.
2. Unplug the power cable from the back of the printer itself if possible and plug it back in while holding down the power button.
3. Unplug the printer from the computer all together and see if it powers up.
4. If it's a separate power cord try to find one similar in nature to plug in and try out as it may be the cord.

Epson C66 problem

Without the benefit of a response from any of rickyostrom, liusgarciaca, or hotdog233311, I think we can say the problem lies with the fact that your magenta cartridge isn't printing. You can confirm this by carrying out a nozzle check print.

If any of you would like further assistance in restoring your magenta to working condition, please do a new post to this effect.

Take the cartridge out and put it back in then try to print, if it is still the same
try cleaning the print heads>control panel>right click on c66 and go to printing
preferences>maintenance tab>print head cleaning>do it 3 times and then try to print
