Hello, welcome to FixYa. Newer Panasonic Microwaves have a built in fault codes.... they look like H97, H98.... Troubleshooting of Inverter Circuit (U) and Magnetron This oven is programmed with a self diagnostics failure code system which will help for troubleshooting. H97, H98 and H99 are the codes provided indicating failure magnetron and inverter circuit problem areas. This appears in display window a short time after start key is pressed and there is no microwave oscillation.
I understand based on your initial post you have Panasonic NN-SD797S microwave you are receiving the H98 error, correct ?
What this indicates according to the Panasonic diagnostic charts is as follow's below...
What this means of course is the magnetron or inverter has failed...in my experience it is usually the inverter board and typically sells for around $100.00 - $125.00, I've also attached a link of your machines parts breakdown, item #32 on the second link.

I would shop around as I alluded to since it can be had for a lot less from one vendor to another.
I also decided to include a link here to a web page that has the error code meanings, flow charts to try and diagnos and other info you may find useful...**Please diagnos with caution and unplug the unit before removing any panels or attempting repairs...safety first**
