How to set up voicemail on i phone - Cell Phones

The fast busy signal that you are hearing after a voicemail is left on your Motorola CD4 cordless phone is most likely due to a problem with your voicemail service or your phone line. Here are a few things that you can try to resolve the issue:

1. Contact your phone service provider: If the fast busy signal is being caused by a problem with your phone line or voicemail service, your phone service provider should be able to help you resolve the issue.
2. Reset your phone: Try resetting your Motorola CD4 cordless phone to its default settings. You can do this by unplugging the phone's base unit and removing the batteries from the handset. Wait for a few minutes and then reconnect the base unit and reinstall the batteries.
3. Check your voicemail settings: Make sure that your voicemail settings are configured correctly. Check your phone's user manual to see how to access and adjust your voicemail settings.

To record voicemail on iPhone, you have to first set up Voicemail and then record voicemail message by following these steps:

1. Tap on Phone > Voicemail;
2. Usually, you will be guided to automated voicemail system and you can simply follow voice prompt to set up Voicemail. If not, you have to follow these steps:
a. Click "Set Up Now". You will be required to enter password. Tap password and then click "Done". Re-tap again and click "Done". Please keep in mind that password should be between 4-6 digits in length.
b. Click "Custom" to record voicemail. Activate "Record" to start recording and tap "Stop" to finish recording voicemail. After you finish recording voicemail, tap on "Save".

Scroll down to page #39 to where it says Use Voicemail and follow the instructions!! As per the service tech I spoke to on the phone to find this link, following these instructions will automatically erase your old voicemail unlock code as well as any as yet unheard messages.

Set Up your VoicemailBefore your phone can receive voicemail messages, you must set up a 4-10 digit passcode and record a personal voicemail greeting.When you have set up your voicemail, all unanswered calls to your phone are automatically transferred to voicemail, even if your phone is in use or turned off.1. Press and hold the 1 key.2. Follow the system prompts to create a password and record a greeting.

Check your Voicemail

When you receive a voicemail message, a
notification with a voicemail message icon
appears at the top of your screen.
• At the voicemail notification, select Call to call
your voicemail number and follow the system
prompts to retrieve the message.
Select Ignore to clear the notification without
checking messages. The notification icon
remains on top of the screen until you listen to
the message
• When only the voicemail message icon
appears on top of the screen, select
Voicemailand follow the system prompts
to retrieve the message.

Adding Voicemail for the First Time

1. Tap the "Phone" button on your iPhone.
2. Select "Voicemail." The iPhone will prompt you to create a password for accessing your voicemail, then will allow you to record your first greeting.
3. Click "Save" to set your recording to your voicemail greeting
   

Recording a New Greeting

1. Tap the "Phone" button on your iPhone.
   
2. Select "Voicemail."
   
3. Choose "Greeting > Custom."
4. Select "Record" and begin recording your voicemail greeting.
5. Hit "Save" to set your recording to your new voicemail greeting

Please tell me the model of your phone.However,you can do this with the use of your phone profile i.e from the phone click on it the screw down to the profile then click on it screw to setting or turn setting from there you will be able to get to greeting setting or turn from this step you will be able to activate the turn again .

Once you call your voicemail service, you'll be taken thru step by step instructions to set up your voicemail.
To call your voicemail service

1. From the Home screen, tap Phone.
2. Touch and hold down 1.

If this does not work, you need to set up your voicemail number. Your subscription includes an answering service, callers can leave a voicemail message when you cannot answer a call. Usually, the voicemail number is saved on the SIM card. If not, contact your service provider to get your voicemail number. You can then enter the number manually.
To enter your voicemail number

1. From the Home screen, tap .
2. Find and tap Settings > Call settings > Voicemail settings.
3. Enter your voicemail number.
4. Tap OK.

If you have an active voicemail... but have never activated it:
The default password is 0 0 0 0 (four - zero's)

The voicemail will talk you right through setting up voicemail, after the set up you can press 8 anytime you are in the voicemail to make changes to your account.

After you place your sim card in the phone press and hold the 1 button and it will call your voicemail and allow you to set it up. Or if that doesnt work call your phone number from you phone and then you will be able to set it up.

Call customer service something odd is happening you don't need to re-set up voicemail moving your SIM from one phone to another. If the phone is one not from your carrier it might not be programmed for your carrier's number when you press and hold 1 to dial voicemail

There is no included voicemail with that phone. You could order voicemail through the phone company, and I beleive it will turn on the "Voice Mail" light.
