Did not receive a product guide with my new HP 3390 why and where do i get one

52 scanner error


I haven't found a good solution to this issue.
Two solutions require service repair and rplacements, have a look at these:

The second is HP's own solution so they will be trying to sell you their products and services.
The other possible solution is suggested by this link
Error Codes and Support
I didn't follow the error 52 link, it might suggest something other than refreshing the printer drivers - you may have to go into Hardware>Device Manager>Printers, and delete the old drivers and download (or previously having downloaded them - they should be available from the HP website, but maybe they aren't) and install them in case they have become corrupted. However not having followed this link I don't know if that is the recommended course of action.

My hp 3390 is giving scanner error 6 message and this is following a power outage we experienced 02/09/2011. it wont scan, copy or send faxes though we can print and receive faxes. the scanner bulb moves...


this problem causes malfunction of CCD unit, observe that CCD unit moving both directions are not, its sensing the home position or not, even its crossing home position replace CCD, your problem will solve..Vinay...

Try to perform the following steps in the mentioned order:

1. Verify that the media was inserted far enough into the input tray. In tray 2 (HP LaserJet 3390/3392 all-in-one), verify that the paper-length guide is in the correct position for the media size that you are using.

2. Reload the media in the input tray and press c00597632.gif to continue the job.

We can't receive faxes and when we send them they all say no answer HP Laserjet 3390, I have installed a new catridge and still will not work


Program it to try to send a FAX to your cell-phone, to see if sending a "test" FAX will cause your cell-phone to ring. If not, then investigate why.

How do I set automatic fax receipt?


If you got a satisfactory solution to the fax receipt issue, I would surely appreciate your sharing it with me. I don't think that any HP all-in-ones will give you a receipt from the recipient. I need this too.
Maybe I will reinstall Win Fax

My HP 3390 is showing low memory and not allowing for faxes to be received. How do I clear the memory?


Navigate through the menu on the printer to "delete" the oldest received/sent FAX files.

I have a HP 3390. When I make a copy form the ADF it has a vertical line down the copy. All is OK when I make a copy form the glass or receive a fax.


you need to clean the rollers of adf and the glass strip that you will find when you open the adf cover.
and then try to copy

HP laserjet 3900, when receiving a fax, displays


You can set as Fax only mode in fax configuration and set the ringing count to one. ring then it l give fax tone automatically.after that u check from any other number and verify it.
