I have the same tv and would like access to a service manual

  • magicdragon Nov 19, 2008

I have the same TV and am looking for a service manual as well. My problem is the TV doesn't come on anymore. Prior to failing altogether, I was having color convergence problems.

I fixed it, it was in the system controls board, I replaced the board.

"samswebsite" did not have the service manual

  • Anonymous Jan 26, 2009

I have a Toshiba TV Model TZ55V61, Chassis no. TAC 9952, 54". The TV continues to turn off and a red light flashes. No should but a blinking red light. Also, the colors are off. Can someone direct me how to repair these two problems? I would like to know what parts I need to replace and where to purchase them. The TV repair store wants to charge me over 900.00 dollars for repair and for that much I could buy another TV. I like my TV and would like to repair myself.

Hi, convergence circuit has failed, the IC`s will have to be changed, possibly a couple of precision support resistors as well and the set will then need to be re-converged, More questions? feel free to ask away, Happy Holidays, BMW Rider
