First try to full charge the batterythen try to check if you still have the same problem, if you still hvae the same problem so this is not a problem with the battery , the next thing that you can do is to reset the camera to its default settings.........

Hope that helps......

When I turn on my HP R717, it won't stay on!

You must replace the batteries. This is a very common problem with all digital cameras. They require a massive amount of power. They will shut off as soon as there is insufficient power to run them. Try rechargable lithium 2400 batteries, they last the longest in digital cameras.

Lens Error M425-12 (7F80) on HP M425

Try taking the SD card out and restart the camera. Also, make sure the batteries are fully charged. There is also a firmware upgrade indicating a problem with the lens getting stuck.

Camara wont power up

I have a similar problem where the product stopped working and froze. No buttons worked, replaced batteries seveal times.

Spoke to Hp Customer service where they stated buy another camera??? It was out of warranty for about 2 months.

So I bought a Kodak camera with great customer support and will never buy another HP Product again.

My problem was solved!

Lens will not open

Find the reset hole near the opening where you insert your battery. Press a paperclip in the hole and hold for about 6 seconds.
