From the Whirlpool user manual:
(OPTIONAL) Your dryer may have an End Of Cycle Signal. The
signal is helpful when drying items that should be removed
from the dryer as soon as it stops.
On some models, the End of Cycle Signal is fixed.
On other models, the End of Cycle signal is part of the

I understand you want to know where the buzzer switch is located on your Frigidaire dryer, model# CRER5700AS1. If your particular model dryer is equipped to turn off the buzzer, the switch will be located between the temperature knob and the start button, and named "Cycle Signal". If your dryer is not equipped with this feature, then there will not be an extra knob. Hope this is helpful.
Hello Craig McDaniel - The buzzer signal will sound when the cycle ends and briefly every 5 minutes as it is a reminder to remove the load. For this purpose, unfortunately the buzzer signal cannot be disable. Most of this brands laundry centers and microwaves are preset to do this.
Unplug th dryer and check to see if the start switch is shorted. Remove switch and check for continuity between the two posts on the back of the switch. There should only be continuity when the switch is pushed in.
On the display panel under the start button is a signal indicator. If you push the button to the left of the indicator you should be able to reduce the volume and even turn it off. The button on the right of the signal indicator will bring the volume back up.
The buzzer is inside the control switch area. Its about the size of 4 stacked 50 cent coins.Kill the power to the drier and then open the control panel and locate the buzzer.Remove the two wires; using electrical tape, you can tape up each wire end and then secure it out of the way. :?) DRRXR
IF THE DRYER COMES ON BY ITSELF WHEN THE TIMER IS SET AND THE DOOR IS CLOSED, THE PUSH TO START SWITCH IS SHORTED. THIS WILL CAUSE THE END OF CYCLE SIGNAL TO BUZZ WHEN THE TIMER IS IN THE OFF POSITION(END OF CYCLE).UNPLUG THE DRYER, REMOVE THE BACK PANEL OF THE CONSOLE, AND REMOVE ONE WIRE FROM THE PUSH TO START SWITCH. ISOLATE IT SO IT ISN'T TOUCHING ANYTHING AND PLUG THE DRYER BACK IN. SET THE TIMER AND CLOSE THE DOOR. IF IT DOESN'T START UP OR BUZZ, UNPLUG THE DRYER AND REATTACH THE WIRE. PLUG THE DRYER BACK IN AND SEE IF IT STARTS BY ITSELF. IF IT DOES, THE PUSH TO START SWITCH IS SHORTED AND WILL NEED REPLACED.
