Question about AEG 23 in. 6410KF-N Electric Cooktop
Hi, we have an aeg hob. when you press the button to turn it on the letter L appears instead of 0, tried turning off the power and back on again but it does not help, any suggestions
It is child lock.
Turn cooker on, press two + at front of oven, this will then take it off for that cooking session.
To turn child lock off switch on hob, and touch - for 5 seconds.

I found by pressing the + button for at least 5 seconds also turns child lock off a Blanco oven.

Tips for a great answer:
Switching off the child safety device
• Start the hob with ( ' ). Do not set the heat settings . Touch for (Up arrow) 4 seconds. The
symbol ( 0 ) comes on.
• Stop the hob with ( I )
The symbols I typed above are not 100% as they appear in the manual.
Thanks for choosing FixYa,
