Vice City running slow on P4 3.00GHZ wit...
hello,
i recently changed my computer from intel D845 to intel D946.
I was running GTA Vice City on my previous computer it was running finebut when i got a new computer Intel 946 with 1.5GB ram and 3 GHZprocessor HT.. but GTA vice city is running slowly. My graphic card is128mb while the graphic card of my older PC was 64mb.
this happened with Counter Strike too but i got the solution.
when ever i started counter strike it launched the game with OpenGLrendering which was slow. but when i changed it to D3D rendering itbecame normal.
I think the problem is same with GTA VICE CITY but i can not get theGraphic options to change from OpenGL to D3D thus my game runsslow...and hangs a lot
my graphic chip is built in and is INTEL GMA 3000 and i have Direct X 9

- When cricket 2007 is started, it runs ok but after a while gets to run very slow.My notebook is running with high performance enabled (power consumption) which is not recommended by HP. I hve changed the resolution of the game to the lowest and tried without any success.
My notebook specifications are as follows.
3 GB Ram
256 MB dedicated NVidia graphics card
Windows Vista- eshwarmail
