hi , you can cenect your laptop to samsung plasma TV using VGA cable to your laptop. After all seting up, by pressing combination fn + F5 or F3 depend your laptop you will conected to samsung plasma tv. plasma will automatically detect your laptop connection. If not detected, you can choose PC input manually by pressing source on remocon. thanks.
Hello. You have to go into your Display Settings, in your HP Laptop, and chose the Dual Screen/Monitor Setting & make sure you check the "Extend my Windows Desktop onto this Monitor" Box. If you are trying to view your Internet Browser on your TV - you will need to Click on and Drag your Browser to the Right... of off your Laptop Screen and onto your TV Screen. This will take care of your problem!

Connect your blu ray player directly to the HDMI input of you Plasma and watch HD video....
and connect the 5.1/7.1 sound thru the optical or the coaxial link directly to your AVR 3805.
You will not loose anything on the Blu-Ray.
The sound is best processsed by the AVR3805, while the video, which is the real upgrade (BluRay) in terms of resolution of picture would be processed by your plasma.
