Sounds like the refrigerator is sitting lopsided. Make sure that the front legs are both retracted in the up position. If it doesn't work, then lower the front leg on the hinge side of the refrigerator. That will cause the frame to lift the door and it should be able to close properly.

Look at the bottom of the freezer door, there is a little plastic stopper there. It may be worn out or broken. When you close the door this is what holds it there. Start there first.

Remove all the food from the freezer and then the drawer from the cabinet. Now using a silicone based lubricant, lube the tracks up real well. Be sure to clean the tracks first if gunked up. Make sure nothing small fell out of the basket over time and is laying on the floor in the rear of the freezer section. Once done, you should be fine.

Use a butter knife and insert it in the slot between the cover and white plastic holder and pull the knife lightly twords you.
Do this on both sides and the cover should come out.
Use 40W bulbs for replacement.
