I have a LG french door refrigerator. I accidentally tilted open the freezer while one of my son's toys was underneath and one of the sides came unhinged. I thought I corrected the problem, but now when I close the freezer, that side does not shut tightly without help. How can I fix it? I did not hear anything break when I opened it - i just seemed to lift out of place.

Sounds like the refrigerator is sitting lopsided.  Make sure that the front legs are both retracted in the up position.  If it doesn't work, then lower the front leg on the hinge side of the refrigerator.  That will cause the frame to lift the door and it should be able to close properly.

Look at the bottom of the freezer door, there is a little plastic stopper there. It may be worn out or broken. When you close the door this is what holds it there. Start there first.

SOURCE: Bottom freezer door/drawer won't close all the way on one side.

Remove all the food from the freezer and then the drawer from the cabinet. Now using a silicone based lubricant, lube the tracks up real well. Be sure to clean the tracks first if gunked up. Make sure nothing small fell out of the basket over time and is laying on the floor in the rear of the freezer section. Once done, you should be fine.

How do I remove the bottom freezer door from an lg refrigerator. Can't get it through the doorway?

After 9 days I imagine you have solved your problem but for those searching for an answer this is what we had to do. In the owners manual on page 15 it tells you to open the drawer fully, remove the lower basket (large one) by tilting the door. Now it states to press both hangers with your thumbs to lift it up. "Hangers" had us stumped. They are little notches, latches that you press in (depress) to release a locking effect, if I remember correctly each side has 2. This allows you to remove the white plastic rail covers. Next remove the 2 white screws; one on each rail near the bottom front. Then with both hands, hold both sides of the freezer door and pull up to separate it from the rails. We not only had to remove the freezer door but the 2 french doors as well. Hope this helped

Freezer door

If you have the tilt door, the hinges on it are just like that of a oven. You would put it on the same way you would your oven door. If it is not a tilt, there is hooks that go on to the side rails and two screws to hold it in place.
