Does this always stay on when the car is running? What is the make, model, and year of the vehicle? Possibly, you are connected to an incorrect power lead or have a bad ground.

We replaced my car battery, now all it does is flash!

Hi.

You need to enter the car stereo anti-theft code. The procedure is illustrated in the car or in the stereo user manual (depending if stereo is factory one).
The stereo code is also printed in car documentation.
Details on how to enter the code depend on car stereo make and model (or on car make and model).
The stereo code is unique, if you have lost the code you may need to pay a small fee to recover the code.
If you have lost the code, the unlock job can also be done for a small fee at the nearest car dealer.

Pioneer DEH-P3100UB + hyundai tiburon 2003 se installation... possible or not?? :S

it is possible to install any stereo in any car.
power,switched power,memory and the speakers.
some older cars had one speaker lead common grounded to the car.
todays stereos have a floating output, and you will short the amplifier if you hook up the speakers to that type.
make sure the speaker leads are independent of the body ground.

Car stereo pre-out signal noise

Two things, a ground loop isolator in-line with the RCA's between the head unit and the first amp.....also a noise reducing capacitor ( $5 or$6 at an auto parts store) on the alternator 12v post will reduce or remove the hum.

JVC car stereo doesn't power up

Check the ground wire. It might have come loose. Ground wire is the only black wire in the harness.

CDX changer has power but doesn't want to eject after flat battery

i resolved this myself in the end.
I unplugged the audio & power cables whilst the stereo and engine was running.
Then plugged back in.
I turned the engine off and stereo off as well.
I then unplugged audio and power again from the back of the CDX, left it unplugged for 10 minutes whilst the engine was still off.
I then plugged the leads back in and turned the engine on. the stereo recognised the CDX, but stayed on displaying "CD Checking". I switched to radio for 20 seconds, turned back to CDX and it selected CD 1 and has been good ever since.

I'm rather pleased with myself!

Having problems fitting Panasonic CQ-C1323NW car stereo into Ford Fiesta

YOU SHOULD HAVE TWO LEADS IN THE CAR, ONE FOR POWER AND ONE FOR SPEAKERS, YOU WILL NEED A FORD TO ISO ADAPTOR LEAD AND THEN YOU WILL NEED THE LEAD WHICH CONNECTS TO THE PANASONIC RADIO

Connecting remote cable to other port from the car stereo

You can tap the amplifier's remote wire into the accessory power lead at the back of the head unit. On most head units this is a red wire. Doing this will make your amplifier turn on and off with the key switch, rather than the deck power.
