Question about Nintendo Wii Console
There is a ribbon cable connected to the bottom of the DVD Drive in the Wii that sometimes comes loose or just gets enough corrosion on the contacts that it no longer makes a good connection. Often just opening the wii and disconnecting and reconnecting this ribbon cable will fix your drive reading problems. If it doesn't you can buy a new drive on ebay for less than $100. If the wii is under warrenty don't open it, just contact Nintendo to get it fixed.
