    Hi,

    I restored my emachine and now my speaker don't have sound. I have everything in place they just won't make sounds. Please help. Thankyou

It seems more likely you have onboard sound. Download CPU-Z, then open it. Under the Mainboard tab, it will tell you which mainboard model you have. Now for example if it says D946GZIS, go on google and search "D946GZIS driver download". You will find all the drivers you need that way.

Chk for drivers in devmgr. if u have sound card then the drivers for it are seperate on a cd. If it didnot work or drivers already installed then let me know which speakers u have, also the sound card(if any).

Reset the Sound/Audio to the correct default device - start -> control panel -> sounds speech and audio devices/hardware and sounds -> audio -> select main audio on-board chip or sound card from the Playback Device drop down menu or the panel of different device options -> apply -> OK -> restart computer.


Quite often nothing more needs to be done to restore Sound/Audio that was disabled by settings changes or errors.

I have a acer 1360 and i have encountered a problem with sound, which i never had before, there is no sound from the computer or ear phones, or speakers, can you guide me to fix the problem, thanks

How to i instal sound drive for my pc?


Hello

1. Power on your computer. Ensure that there is a sound device installed on your computer. You can locate your sound device by right clicking on "My Computer." Click "Properties." Select "Device Manager." Click on "Sound." Your sound device should be listed. If there is no sound device listed, you will have to purchase and install a sound device before proceeding.

2. Insert the CD or floppy disk that contains the drivers for your sound device into your computer's CD-ROM or floppy disk drive. If you do not have the CD or floppy disk that contains the sound device drivers, there are websites such as Driver Guide and NoDevice that will allow you to download the drivers online for free.

3. Click on "Install Drivers." The sound device drivers will then be installed onto your computer. It may be necessary to restart your computer once the installation is complete.

4. Open your media player and play an audio file to ensure that your sound device drivers were installed successfully.

Audio is not working for P5SD2-VM motherboard...


You probably need Microsoft UAA drivers first
1) Remove any installed audio drivers through device manager
2) Download Microsoft UAA drivers for your O/S
3) Install them and reboot
4) go to device manager right click sound and update driver
It will go on the net and in most cases find and install them

Sounds, video and game controlers > (right click) Realtek high definition audio > update driver sofware > browse my computer for driver software > let me pick from a list...> double click on Realtek high definition audio > YES to update driver warning > AND SWEET SOUND IS AUDIBLE :D
