Connectivity problem with Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave Keyboard and Mouse

This evening I have replaced the batteries in the cordless laser mouse and attempted to reconnect the mouse. On the back of the keyboard are diagrams showing that I should press the connect button on the corded unit and then the connect button on the mouse. I can not get this to work. Could you please direct me to a more detailed explanation of the procedure to do this? ie should I hold buttons for a certain amount of time? first one and then the other? or both together? Any information would be appreciated. Normal 0 Turn the mouse over and find the small rest/connect button on the bottom of the mouse and press it to Reset/Connect the mouse to the receiver and work properly.
If not, try pressing the receiver button and then press the mouse. This should be done whenever you change batteries or glitch.
Hope this helps you. Bud

Unable to connect Logitech cordless keyboard

Of course you know to press the connection button on the receiver then on the keyboard. Since setPoint is recognizing the connection I wonder do the multimedia and function keys work? Do you have the the USB receiver for the KB/Mouse plugged into a hub or KVM switch? If so plug it directly into the back of the PC. See this KB http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/logitech_en_amr.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=9247

Logitech Installation

in short Yes. however let me explain something. You must leave the wifi connector for the one you are using plugged into your computer, and you must install the drivers for the nano mouse, and leave its wifi connector plugged in as well. this is very simple. The reason for leaving both wifi connectors connected to the computer is because one will allow your keyboard to input data and the other will alow you to move your mouse. the only problem that i know of in this situation is interfearence between the mouse and the keyboard being on different Frequency channels however I dont think you will have this issue. Thank you and I really hope this helps. <---Sorry for the length

Connectivity problem with Logitech Cordless Desktop Wave Keyboard and Mouse

if the mouse is a Bluetooth wireless mouse, which by the way you describe the instructions for reconnecting it sounds like it could be the case, you press the buton on the corded reciever unit first, wait a few seconds and press the button on the mouse. This should synchronize your mouse and your PC.

in order to give you more details than that, i would need to know the model of mouse you're using.

Logitech cordless mouse and keyboard installation

You probably already done this but try pressing the receiver button and while it is flashing turn the board over and press the small reset/connect button on the bottom of the board and also the reset/connect button on the bottom of the mouse. It should work okay after that. here is hoping that helps. Bud
