This sounds like you have the contrast setting too high, go to your menu and find the contrast settings, and adjust to your requirement. As for the words being blurry, this could be because your tv is HD ready, and unless you view a High Definition channel then the picture will be a liitle blurred.
Hope this is of some help?

How to set automatic light control of the monitor in accordance with time

Ever notice how people texting at night have that eerie blue glow?

Or wake up ready to write down the Next Great Idea, and get blinded by your computer screen?

During the day, computer screens look good-they're designed to look like the sun. But, at 9PM, 10PM, or 3AM, you probably shouldn't be looking at the sun.

f.lux

f.lux fixes this: it makes the color of your computer's display adapt to the time of day, warm at night and like sunlight during the day.

It's even possible that you're staying up too late because of your computer. You could use f.lux because it makes you sleep better, or you could just use it just because it makes your computer look better.

f.lux makes your computer screen look like the room you're in, all the time. When the sun sets, it makes your computer look like your indoor lights. In the morning, it makes things look like sunlight again.

Tell f.lux what kind of lighting you have, and where you live. Then forget about it. f.lux will do the rest, automatically.

Linux: type the following commands in the terminal(alt+T)

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kilian/f.lux

sudo apt-get update

sudo apt-get install fluxgui

Just bought the TV yesterday. In the bright room, with sun shinning, i can not see the picture. Is there a setting that needs to be switced?

You didn't mention the make or model of your TV but most of the latest do have an ECO setting or similar idea in the set up or picture menu, this means the screen will automatically adjust the picture brightness if the room starts to get too bright, as in the sun shining or if the room gets too dark. Take a look in your instruction book for this type of setting, remember not all models have this & yours may be one of them.

Hi My screen is really dark when inside night pictures. I have tried to increase brightness. But can't adjust. Can you help plse ?

The set may have an ambient light detector - if so then the set up options will allow you to vary the screen brightness - a simple check to find out if this could be the problem would be to display an image during the day then if possible close the blinda and make the room dark - alternatviley do the same at night then switch the room lights on and off and see if the brightness changes.

I take pictures of white puppies on the same table in the same room.. some of the lighting is fine, some dark could it be the sandisk..??

Most likely it's the camera. Almost all cameras are designed to meter the scene as a medium gray. If you photograph white puppies in the snow, the camera will try to make the whole picture come out a medium gray, leading to gray puppies in gray snow. If you photograph black puppies in a coal bin, the camera will again try to make the whole picture come out a medium gray, leading to gray puppies in gray coal.

For this reason most cameras provide some means of adjusting the exposure. Since you didn't specify the make and model of your camera, I can't tell you exactly how to do it. Please look in the manual under "Exposure Compensation."

Web camera is not a clear picture

is it because its dark? for this webcam and alot of other webcams, the lighting of the room is a kep factor for the quality of your picture =]
i think the reason the picture sucks and its fuzzy and the playback is slow is because its dark, in your room... theres like a funnel looking thing infront of your lens, try to keep the funnel thing from keeping a shadow.. if you see in the daylight with the windows open or open lighting from the sun, the quality of your picture is bomb =] if this doesnt work, im sorry =]

Toshiba 52HMX95 DLP has weird gray think line

DLP TVs work projecting light throught a tube covered with mirrors, called the light tunnel.

The gray shadow it is something in the middle of the light tunnel, probably a mirror that has gone out of place when you moved the TV.
