There is issue with the data cable which runs through the hinges.
Open the hinges portion and check most probable the cable might be loosly connected else you have to buy a new one.

15' macboo pro 2008 15' screen problem. Colors turn negatitive when screen is tilted a certain way.

sounds like the video cable is pinched in the hinges. This was really common with first generation macbook air. iFixit.com has guides for disassembling, but you'll quite likely need a new video cable.

Faulty lcd screen connection elliptic pattern

if you loose picture when the "lid" is at certain angles it could be the LCD panel but I would lean more towards an LVDS cable issue (aka lcd cabkle).

Acer aspire one charging port loose

If I recall this model line uses a fixed DC power jack directly soldered to the main board. When they become loose, you can visually inspect the jack itself (without the cord plugged in), and use a pen or probe to see of the center peg is excessively loose. The common result is the solder connections have been broken between the DC jack and the main board. Often the jack itself needs to be replaced (involving complete disassemble, de-soldering old jack, cleaning, repair PCB if needed, and re-solder new jack in place.
TIP - if it is not charging, remove battery, and gently put pressure from different angles with the power cord plugged in, and try to turn it on. If it turns on with pressure from a specific angle, it would indicate the DC jack is indeed loose, and likely needs to be replaced. It works becomes the pressure is making the electrical contact that has other wise been broken. ALSO, if it turns on easily, yet losses power at certain angles, its a similar issue.
TIP2 - If it still indeed charges regardless of the angle, and does not lose power, it may be a "Modular" DC jack, meaning the jack connects to the main board through a wire harness, and is less prone to breaking the electrical contacts, and the jack is simply loose inside it's retaining clips/slides. Minor disassembly and hot glue are quick fixes for this since usually the plastic clip/slide in the chassis have broke.

GOOD LUCK! :)

Screen turns off when opened

There is a thin ribbon cable that runs between your screen and the rest of the laptop. every time you open/close the lid it flexes that cable.
Something in your cable is coming loose, it could be that a wire in the cable is broken and connects only at certain screen angles or perhaps one end of the cable is loose.
You need to take the bezel off to get to the cable, verify that the cable is plugged in, if the problem still occurs then replace the cable.
You should find the cable fairly cheaply on ebay, search for acer "model" lcd ribbon cable.

Let me know if this helps.

How do I have an Acer Travelmate 4060 series repaired? When the power cord is inserted into the laptop, the inside unit must be lose or broken because after it loads and while using the laptop the screen...

If I remember correctly, PC World have a door to door collection repair service, any pc repaired for a set price. Courier supplies the packaging.

If you are a DIY er, Nope. it can be done ,just a little fiddly.
Just remember to clear any sensitive material.

Hp pavilion dv5000 laptop screen distortion

Same here. However mine is a toshiba satellite. Starts fine but after a minute or two its like watching tv in the 60s all sorts of white lines distort the screen. So i took the back off and removed all of the screws for the sceen around the top and bottom. Just the ones that mount it to the cover. By applying pressure to certain parts i managed to narrow it down and after about 10 attempts at ptting it all back together i did it with 2 screw missing in the top left hand corner and low and behold it seems to work fine. I am thinking that over time maybe some of the mouldings expand and maybe apply pressure onto the back of the screen and start to cause problems. I am not saying this is a cure for all but it certainly worked for me. Good Luck.
