What does LF stand for on a Whirlpool Washing Machine?

LONG FILL....I usually means the faucets are not turned on fully OR you have a pinch in the hose and it is taking too long to fill (LONG FILL).

Bosch washing machine

You have a sticking water inlet valve, which is slowly letting water enter m/c.
If it is a hot and cold fill m/c, what you need to do is turn either the hot or cold tap off to the m/c, and see if the problem continues, if say you turn the hot off and it still comes into the washer, then you have sticking cold valve, replace with new one. if after turning cold off, and it still fills, then you need new hot valve fitting.
If it is a cold fill m/c only, then simply replace the cold inlet valve.
Problem solved.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

You have to check whether the water flow is good from your tap in the wall. Then check for blocks in the hoses; there are screens also in the machine (at water entry) which should be cleaned up.
