Question about Maytag Neptune MAH9700 Front Load Washer
Some of those pumps had a small hose going to it from the water level control have had trash pulg them up on pump end and at pump port ck it ..if pluged control may thing washer has enough water and will not let any in also pump may have gone kaflooey

The "nd" indicates "no drain" and would usually mean something is wrong with the drain pump.
I would suggest checking the drain pump for obstructions or if it hums or tries to run.
Most likely there is a piece of clothing in the pump or it's bad and needs to be replaced.
The wrong soap might cause excessive suds and create a drain problem.
The image below will help you remove the front panel to access the pump.
