Question about fedora Linux Operating System
I think that means you have have not downloaded the codecs needed to be able to play mp3 files. You need to go to open up terminal and type in "sudo yum install gstreamer-mp3 " or gstreamer-plugins-bad, or such to be able to use Totem and Rhythmbox/banshee to play mp3. To use XMMS, just download xmms-mp3 rpm, you can google for the details. I am not using Fedora so I can't give you the exact package name.
