Hi I want to know what is the best motherboards compatable for adobe premiere 6.5 ? ( Asus, Intel, else?) what is the best model no. of each? thanks a lot, Mack

Motherboards do not generally have incompatibilities with software. Video capture software can be graphic intensive, especially if it compiles. You are going to want as much ram as windows will use (4gb for 32 bit, 8 for 64 bit) and a good graphics card. PCI express 2.1 would be best so make sure the motherboard has it. You can also opt for a motherboard with either SLI or crossfire to employ dual video cards, but that may be overkill.

I HAVE A ASROCK K7S41GX MOTHERBOARD AND JUST BOUGHT A NEW GRAPHICS CARD WHICH DOESNT FIT!! THERE IS ALSO A WARNING STICKER SAYING NOT TP USE A PERTICULAR VOLTAGE OF CARD.COULD ANYONE PLEASE TELL ME THE...

upon checking your motherboard, it has an AGP port for video. so you have to get an AGP video card compatible. New video cards are PCIX capable which will not fit AGP ports..

So you can get any AGP Video card and that should work.

Abit GD8 Pro video card best support?

the best video card depends on what you want to do with it. if you only plan to watch movies, it's no use of spending lots of money on a high-end graphics adapter. if you're more of a hardcore gamer, then the only thing i could say is this: look for a graphics card with as much video memory and as high a clock speed as possible. and try to avoid the brand MSI in combo with Abit system boards, since this may cause hardware conflicts and compatibility issues...

What is the best video card adapter for my asus a7a266 reu 1.10

The "best" video card depends on what you're trying to achieve.

You can ONLY use:

AGP Pro Slot 4x/2x/1x support

Cards though. Keep that in mind.

Video conection pins broken

Depending on your motherboard the only option now is for a PCI or PCI Express or AGP Video card, the best option for you in this case, once the video connector breaks, the best is to replace the motherboard, but using a video card will bypass that connection and get you going again!

Good luck!

Can I My motherboard support a PCI video card?

Hi there.
Your motherboard will support both kinds of Video card.
PCI is quite old and is only supported up to 128MB of video memory.
PCI Express is new technology and is by far the best card that you can buy giving you the best graphics experience and can support up to 1GB of graphics memory making it good for gaming.

Good luck and thanks for using FixYa!!
