Washing machine stops before rinse cycle

This washing machine is 11 years old. Recently it started stopping right after the wash cycle. I was able to move the dial and eventually try enough things to complete the cycle - but now that isn't working anymore

    Keep in mind that the washer will start, fill up, wash - but then stops and I have to fiddle with moving the dial to somewhere where it eventually will complete a cycle.

    I mistyped the model number - it is kaws777eq0. I went online at kitchenaid and was able to download the manual and it does mention replacing fuse if washer stops - so a diagram of the fuses would be helpful.

You may have a bad or blocked water inlet valve. The wash water would fill hot water on hot or warm settings, but the rinse, being only cold, is not filling. Check the inlet water screen inside where the hose normally attaches to the machine. Also, check that there is not a screened washer in either end of the cold water supply hose that may be blocked.

Have you checked on the machine internally if you have a borken fuse near the control board of the washer? many times, of age, this part can be rusted and damaged, thuis needs replacement on some parts, and cleaning on most part.

what is the exact model of your wahser, so that we will be able to provide a diagram on where you may check the issue.

Couple of years old . not old. Recently stopped completing cycles. seems to happen after the washcycle or rince, not sure. Need to manually turn over to spin and re-start machine. help!!
Be certain BOTH fill hoses are turned on. What happens is hoses get reversed, and someone turns off the hot water (which is connected to the cold inlet) and the machine needs cold water on rinse, so it will JUST STOP and wait happily forever. Both taps on and then check for reversed hoses.

My machine has recently started not completing a full wash cycle and seems to stop before the rinse and spin completion. It also shows a "nf" in the digital readout. any ideas?? Of course I cannot find...
Look carefully at supply water. sometimes hoses are reversed, dad wants to save money and turns off hot, but water is needed to finish rinse cycle....turn on both taps and test again.

Kenmore washer - water won't drain. It stops
If the water drains between the wash and rinse cycles, your motor and pump are probably OK. If this is a machine with a dial, try a different cycle, like normal instead of heavy duty. If that works and the machine completes the entire cycle then the timer probably has a bad spot. You might try to find a replacement timer if that is the case although I didn't have any luck with my 10 year old washing machine. Best of luck

Maytag commercial washer gets to spin cycle and stops
It sounds like your timer is defective

FIX

When the machine gets to the rinse cycle slowly advance the setting to manually advance the timer
if it just sits bang on the panel or around the knob and listen if ou hear the timer start ticking you will need to replace it

Timers are avaliable from appliance parts suppliers around $29 you can get someone to install it or if you are handy can do it yourself

GE Nautilus won't drain after Rinse Cycle
Check disposer plug. If a garbage disposer has been recently installed, it is possible the disposer drain plug was not removed. The drain plug is a plastic piece in the disposer that blocks the hole where the dishwasher hose connects. Also check the hose connected to the disposal. Mine apparently had a kink in it. When I straightened the hose the dishwasher drained at full speed (I recently had a plumber re-route a hot waterline. He must has bent the hose). Hope this helps. If not go to the GE website. That's where I found my answer.

Beeping and odd light sequence
I have the same problem with my 603 washing machine stopping in the middle of a cycle and i would have to go and manually advance the wash. I have just replaced the top curcuit board with a new one. can you please help or offer a solution. Thank you.

MW511 rarely completes a cycle automatically. It can stop at any point between...Wash...and...spin. Power remains on. Not an out-of-balance condition. At times the program can be advanced manually.
