My hp 1320 prints only one copy SPAM I AM AT 1*800*532*4187

I have a 1320 printer that was printing multiple copies before. Recently however, I could not get it to print multiple copies automatically in most of the applications I use. I tried Word, excel, adobe acrobat, but still it will only print the first copy even when I requested for multiple copies. Thanks Chafe

I have the same problem and did the delete printer and restart. It reloaded the driver but is still only printing one copy.

I tried the solution listed above and it did not help.

When multiple copies are seleced on the print page only one copy prints. When I open the advanced printer preference screen, the number of copies matches what was listed on the print page. I hit OK and it will print multiple copies.

However, the next time I list multiple copies on the print page, only one copy prints until I repeat the above procedure.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Windows may have eaten its baby again- that is, the driver for that printer.
Open the Control Panel, then Printers and Faxes, delete any listing for that model of printer, make sure the printer is on and connected, then reboot your system. This will force Win to 'find' the printer and install an uncorrupted driver for it.

When i print from excel it is printing multiple pages instead one

check your print preview. Either Excel is set to print multiple copies or the spreadsheet is slightly bigger than a page. Fix the spreadsheet, this is likely not a printer issue.

My hplaserjet 1320 prints multiple copies when printing Excel Doc

The best thing to do as a starter is:

1. uninstall the print driver THEN
2. download the latest version from the manufacturer and install it

This rules out the driver as the cause of the problem
1. Go to printers
2. Right Click on the Printer HP Laserjet 1320
3. Click on Printing Preferences
4. Click on Advanced
5. Double Click (to open) on Paper Output
6. Ensure that COPY COUNT is set to "1"

If it is already set to one, trick the system a little:
1. set it to 2 and save that setting
2. then go back in and set it to 1

Good luck

My hp 1320 prints multiple copies instead of one copy

Go to "printers and faxes."
Right click on your printer and select "Printing preferences."
Select "Advanced" tab
Double click "paper output"
If "Copy count=2" then change to 1 and apply
IF IT ALREADY IS SET TO 1 THEN:
Set "copy count=2" then APPLY
Repeat the above and now set "copy count=1"

The process of setting and resetting the copy count fixed my issues.

Hp LaserJet 1320 will not print multiple copies

This problem is caused by Mopier Mode being enabled by default. The idea of Mopier Mode is to minimise computer and network traffic by sending only 1 copy to a printer equiped with suitable internal memory. That stored copy is then used to produce the multiple copies. Most HP Laserjets do not have suitable internal memory and so only the one copy sent by the computer gets printed. To disable Mopier Mode:
Click Start
Click Devices and Printers
Right click your Laserjet Printer
Select Printer Properties
Click the Device Settings Tab
Scroll down to the bottom
If necessary, expand Installable Options
Click on Mopier Mode
Select Disable in the selection box that appears
Click Apply
You will now get multiple copies.

I am running Microsoft Word 2003 and have an HP 1320n printer. My problem is that when I print more than 1 copy the pages do not collate even if the collate box is ticked in the print dialogue book and so...

HP 1320 print driver is a universal print driver covering several printer models.  Collating only works on HP printers if you have a multiple exit tray system for commercial based laser printers similar to finishers on a copier.  They have to have room to keep the copier together before they can be collated.  On a standard configured 1320 there lacks any space for finishing tasks.

NUMBER OF COPIES

If you cannot print more than 1 copy, click on...

Start -> Control Panel -> Printers -> Right click on HP 1320 printer icon -> Properties -> Device settings -> Disable mopier mode (last option)

This worked for an HP 1300, 1320 and as well as an HP P2015d using the HP 1320 driver.
