the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Hi I have an excel question. Here is what I need to do. I need to do a sales analysis YTD with several different project types that I need to split up over which month the sale was taken in.

it will take too long to explain and then the explanation may not cover your question
go out and buy a "excel for dummies" book and all the processes that excel can do is explained
or go google and type in--- user manual for excel -- and see if there is a pdf version for down load
if there is it could be several hundred pages long but you could select the pages relevant and print them only

I want the data when typed into cell A1 in sheet 1 to automatically show in cell A22 in sheet 3

If you're using MS Excel it's easy, go to cell A1 and hit "Ctrl" and "C" to copy the cell, then go to cell A22 in sheet three, type in the "=" sign and paste ("Ctrl" and "v" at the same time) the info into the cell. It should look like: =Sheet1!A1

This is a PC answer, not an Apple answer, but in theory it should work for Apple too.

How to sende information from a sheet to another?

You can link to the original sheet or copy and paste - Linking might be easier as you only have 10. - Can you not use worksheets rather than excel. If you want to make it more autonomous you can index or look up the first sheet so any changes you make will be reflected back in your employee sheets.

I have some value in Sheet2 of an xls file. now i want to link that value to a cell in Sheet1. Hence, if theres any change of value in sheet2 it also do reflect in Sheet1

Just put the following formula in the cell you want the number to change.
=sheet2!b1 the B1 is the cell on sheet 2 or whatever cell you want to link to. Whatever you put in cell B1 on sheet 2 will automatically change on the cell on sheet one you place this formula in.

Excel formulas

type in "=" and then go to the cell in the 2nd sheet and click on the cell that contains the value you want carried to sheet 1. Then drag copy the forumula in sheet 1 to all the cells you want it to relate to. Now, if you place a value in e.g. A1 of sheet 2, then that same value will appear in A1 of sheet 1.
Good luck.

Hi friends

Have all worksheets open including the one that is to be the tally sheet.
On the tally sheet, select a cell that you want to link to one of the other sheets and press the equals signto begin the cell formula. Without pressing the enter key, click on the cell in the other worksheet that you want to show up in your tally sheet.
Press enter to complete. This will link that cell in the two worksheets together as long as the spreadsheets remain stored in the same places.
