New Look Problems

Ever since Facebook did a facelift (I really hope they'll go back to the old look!!!), my applications aren't working properly.

Is it just me? What can I do to fix this?

Need to remove pictures from Facebook-Need directions on my Droid Phone.

Hey Jenna lee, i got it to work so here is what i did. It was frustrating so i played with it a little here is the basics of what i did for android
Make sure you go to settings on your phone, then under accounts, click on google click on each email you have for syncing and then uncheck the boxes that say "sync google photos" and "sync picasa web album".

1.I deleted all of my photos off of my facebook (i was going to delete facebook account anyway)
2. i had to uninstall facebook, then re install it again ....and right before it comes on it will ask you too syn contact/photos... select "no syn"
3. next i went to "settings" then "application manager" on my phone ... found the facebook app and cleared the data....
4. then i went to gallery app in application manager and cleared that data too.
5. then i uninstalled facebook again.
6. then i went to "storage" on my phone.. clicked on photos and then deleted all of my photos on there
7. i backed out and went back to application manager to see if my gallery app data was still cleared,.... if not then clear it again.

just make sure you are doing these things .. i was really playing with it, but those are the main places i was deleting at. hope it helped.
hope that it helped

How top resrore youre old facebook

We cannot Restore the Old Facebook, if you wish to disable the new Facebook Chat (Sidebar), you can do it but you'll need to install the browser's extensions. If you are using Firefox or Google Chrome, please visit HERE and follow the instructions, the download links are at the bottom of the page with instructions. I am unable to find any solutions for Internet Explorer, Opera, etc.. at the moment. Hope this helps.
Good Luck.
Thanks for using FixYa.

Does anyone know how to use this new Beta Site or if there's any way to get back to the old layout. Can't find my open paid questions, new paid question or new free questions. Layout before was...

Hi Andy. The new site was announced in the Experts' Lounge as well as via email. Let me know if you'd like me to resend you the info. As the announcements explain, paid questions aren't currently integrated into the new site, but will be before we make the final changeover. If you would like to use the old site or answer paid questions, you can go here- You can find new free questions by going to the Answer tab and clicking on Unsolved Problems. Familiarizing yourself with a new layout always takes time, but we hope that you'll come to appreciate the benefits of the new site, including faster load times and a more user-friendly experience. We're still working out bugs and adding new features, and plan to completely switch over within the next couple of months. Please feel free to contact our Support Team directly at:

Happy Surfing and feel free to drop me a line if this helps. Im John Pickles of leeds on facebook on the other hand when we talked about FB chat its really sucks Well this can happens quite often.FB is just having issues with its chat software.Just try to log out and close the tab or window with FB on it, and then open a new one in a couple of minutes and try again. If it doesn't work then you might be having some internet problems since it 'wont connect'.

How do i create a face book page where i can have people be my fan

If you’ve recently graduated from college, it’s hard to imagine your college life apart from Facebook. Catching the latest gossip, becoming friends with that college superstar who has never heard of you and staying up-to-date on the latest happenings. And of course, everyone knows it’s not official until it’s on Facebook! However, Facebook is no longer just for college students. Many people reading this may have parents and even grandparents with an account now. Time Magazine even went as far as to publish an article recently called “Why Facebook is for Old Fogies“. Facebook has not only become a place for young people to connect and network, but it has also become another avenue for businesses and organizations to connect, network and promote their organization. The main way to network on Facebook is of course by creating a profile or even a group, which can be a little more professional then just a profile. However, if you really want to network and promote yourself, business or organization, then creating a Facebook Fan Page is the best way to do this.
create-facebook-page-300x200.gifTo create a Facebook page navigate to this page and click the big green button.
It can be a little difficult finding on Facebook where to begin a fan page, so you’ll have to go to the main page for creating a fan page. When beginning a fan page, you’re given the basics, which make it look like a glorified profile page. A raw fan page includes a wall, feed, photos, videos and list of fans. Although this can suffice, if you really want to attract fans who don’t justconsist of your circle of friends, you’ll want to make some upgrades to your page.
Making your fan page interactive and graphically appealing are two of the most important ways to attract new fans. Making it interactive can easily be done with Facebook’s Application Directory that has a wide-range of applications that can be added to your page with a couple clicks. If you have the resources (web developer/designer), or have some experience there yourself, it’s not too hard to develop a Facebook application. The advantage of this is that you can put your brand on the application and personalize it the way you want. I’ve seen people develop a facebook application in as quick as a few days. Putting interactive applications on your page gives users a reason to not just become fans, but to continually visit and interact on your page.
Along with making your fan page interactive, it’s important to give it some personality by making it look attractive. Facebook allows you to upload a logo or photo for your fan page, but that just isn’t enough. Give your page some flare. Put a sharp graphic linking to your website or a flashy banner along the side bar that promotes a contest. Doing something like this offers fans and potential fans a reason to not only visit your fan page often, but to also visit your company’s website or blog. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve visited a website, just to immediately leave because there was little effort put into the design of the site.
Take a stab at creating a Facebook fan page; it doesn’t cost anything and you can reap the benefits for yourself or business. Build off your page, keeping it fresh and new, so that your fans have a reason to come back to it.
Do you have a Facebook page? What apps are using to make it better?

I had the same problem when someone guessed my facebook password and started writing messages to my friends. I found out that I couldn't fully delete the Facebook profile, but I deleted all the information/photos etc and applications and friends from it.
That was before Facebook changed over to the new look, though, but you should still be able to delete all the information..
Hope this helps
